Addy Dunkley-Smith (born 30 August 1993 in Victoria) is an Australian former national representative rower and a Clinical Psychologist in practice. As a rower she was a four-time Australian national champion and a 2015 medallist at U23 World Rowing Championships.
Dunkley-Smith first learned to row at the Barwon Rowing Club and then at The Geelong College. [1] She rowed in The Geelong College's first VIII in Victorian Schools Head of the River races in 2010 and 2011. [1]
Her mother, Addy Bucek, is a former Australian Olympic sailing representative. [2] Her older brother Joshua is a former national representative rower who won medals at five World Rowing Championships and at two Olympic Games. [3]
Dunkley-Smith's senior club rowing has been from the Mercantile Rowing Club. [1]
She was first selected to represent Victoria in the women's youth eight which contested the Bicentennial Cup in the Interstate Regatta at the 2012 Australian Rowing Championships. [4] In 2013 she stroked the Victorian youth eight to a silver medal finish. [5] In 2015 she rowed in the Victorian senior women's eight which contested and won the Queen's Cup at the Australian Interstate Regatta. [6] She rowed in further Queen's Cup winning Victorian women's eights in 2016, [7] 2017, [8] and 2018. [9]
Dunkley-Smith made her Australian representative debut in 2013 in the Trans-Tasman Series of match races against New Zealand crews on Lake Karopiro, New Zealand. [1] In 2014 she made it into the U23 Australian eight which at the U23 World Championships in Varese that year placed fourth. [10] In 2015 she rowed with Katrina Werry in the coxless pair to a bronze medal win at the World Rowing U23 Championships in Plovdiv. [10]
Dunkley-Smith made the Australian senior squad and into the three seat of the senior women's eight when they started their 2018 international campaign with a bronze medal win at the World Rowing Cup II in Linz, Austria. [10] Then at the WRC III in Lucerne they finished fifth. For the 2018 World Rowing Championships in Plovdiv Dinkley-Smith lost her seat in the eight to Rosie Popa and she raced in Australia's coxless pair with Hannah Vermeersch. They placed eighth overall at that regatta which was Dunkley-Smith's last Australian representative appearance. [10]
Dunkley-Smith has Bachelors and Honours degrees in Psychology and Psychophysiology. [11] In 2022 she obtained her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Deakin University. As of 2023 she practices in Ontario, Canada with expertise in the area of youth and families living with mentally ill parents. Her scholarly works have been published in peer-reviewed journals. [12]

Hannah Vermeersch is an Australian Olympic rower. She represented for Australia at the 2012 Summer Olympics and at World Championships from 2013 to 2018. She won the Remenham Challenge Cup at the 2018 Henley Royal Regatta in the Australian women's eight.
William Lockwood is an Australian former representative rower. A national champion, dual Olympian and two time Olympic silver medal winner, Lockwood represented at the international level for seven consecutive years.
Joshua Booth is an Australian rower. He is a triple Olympian and Olympic silver medal winner from Melbourne, Australia. He rowed in the Australian men's eight at the London 2012 Olympics, Rio 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics|Tokyo 2020 Olympics Joshua has two miniature groodles, Albie and Lenny; and lives in Melbourne.
Spencer Alf Turrin is an Australian representative rower. He is a national champion, twice world champion, a dual Olympian and an Olympic champion. He competed and won medals in the Australian senior men's coxless four at every World Rowing Championship from 2013 to 2018, culminating in consecutive world championship gold at Sarasota 2017 and 2018 Plovdiv. Alexander Hill is an Australian representative rower. Katrina Werry is an Olympian and Australian national and two-time world champion rower. At the 2017 World Rowing Championships, she became world champion in the women's coxless four with Lucy Stephan, Sarah Hawe, and Molly Goodman. She regained that coxless four world championship title in 2019. She won the Remenham Challenge Cup at the 2018 Henley Royal Regatta in the Australian women's eight. She rowed in the Australian women's eight at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Natalie Bale is a West Australian former rower. She was an U23 world champion, a medallist at senior world championships and was a 2008 Olympian.
Rosemary Popa is an Australian national champion rower, Olympic gold medalist, and former rower for the University of California, Berkeley. A dual citizen of Australia and the United States, she has represented both countries at World Rowing Championships, twice winning medals for Australia. She won the Remenham Challenge Cup at the 2018 Henley Royal Regatta in the Australian women's eight. In 2021, she was selected to represent Australia in the coxless four event at the delayed 2020 Summer Olympics, where she won the gold medal.
Liam Donald is an Australian rower. He is a national champion, a national representative at world championships and was an U23 World Champion.
Georgina Gotch is an Australian former national representative rower. She was a four-time national champion and a medallist at the 2018 World Rowing Championships.
