Adeaze are a New Zealand R&B/soul duo comprising brothers Nainz and Viiz Tupai. The group's debut album, Always and for Real, was released in 2004 and topped the album chart in New Zealand.
Brought up playing music in the church, the brothers used the time wisely crafting their skills with different instruments and live performance. Their passion for music continued and Adeaze performed eagerly at various church and school functions, during their adolescent years. The brothers attended Mangere College in Auckland New Zealand with a quick stint at Otahuhu College. In 1999 the brothers attended Excel School of Performing Arts and received Diplomas in Performance graduating at the top of the class, followed by a national tour of New Zealand with the students of Excel. The same year Adeaze caught the attention of Brotha D from Dawn Raid, who recognising the talent got the duo to record two songs for the upcoming compilation Southside Story (Dawn Raids Debut Album).
The duo released their debut album Always and for Real in 2004, which includes the number-one hit "Getting Stronger", their cover version of Bee Gees's song "How Deep Is Your Love", [1] and "A Life with You"—which is sampled for Mariah Carey's "Your Girl" from the 2005 album, The Emancipation of Mimi . [2] The album reached the number one position on the New Zealand album charts in 2004. [3]
Then the duo released the second album, Rise and Shine, in 2011. [4]
In a May 2008 Rip It Up interview, Former New Zealand Prime Minister Helen Clark stated Adeaze were her favourite New Zealand music group. [ citation needed ]

Mariah Carey is the debut studio album by American R&B singer Mariah Carey, released on June 12, 1990, by Columbia Records. Its music incorporates a range of contemporary genres with a mix of slow ballads and up-tempo tracks. Originally, Carey wrote four songs with Ben Margulies, which solely constituted her demo tape. After Carey was signed to Columbia, all four songs, after being altered and partially re-recorded, made the final cut for the album. Emotions is the second studio album by American singer-songwriter Mariah Carey. It was released on September 17, 1991, by Columbia Records. Charmbracelet is the ninth studio album by American singer Mariah Carey, released in North America on December 3, 2002, through MonarC Entertainment and Island Records. The album was Carey's first release since her breakdown following the release of her film Glitter (2001) and its accompanying soundtrack album. Urban Pasifika is a New Zealand subgenre of hip hop, that developed primarily among Pasifika New Zealanders in South Auckland. Dawn Raid Entertainment is a record label based in Papatoetoe, South Auckland, New Zealand. It has signed many New Zealand hip hop and R&B artists such as Savage, Adeaze, Aaradhna, The Deceptikonz, Devolo and Ill Semantics. The founders of Dawn Raid Entertainment announced the closure of the recording label on 19 April 2007 due to liquidation.

Titanium was a New Zealand pop boy band formed in Auckland in 2012 from the winners of The Edge radio station's competition to create New Zealand's first authentic boy band. The Edge radio station hosted auditions across New Zealand and eventually six young men were selected: Zac Taylor, Andrew Papas, Jordi Webber, Shaquille Paranihi-Ngauma, Haydn Linsley and T.K Paradza. They released their debut single, "Come On Home", which debuted at number one on the official New Zealand Singles Chart on 17 September 2012. Titanium released its debut studio album, All For You in December 2012. It became the first New Zealand band to have three songs in the Top 40 Singles Chart at one time.
