Adika Peter-McNeilly (born April 17, 1993) is a Canadian professional basketball player for the Edmonton Stingers of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL).
Graduating from St. Mother Teresa Catholic Academy in Scarborough, Ontario, Peter-McNeilly took his game to the United States, where he spent the 2012–13 season at Clarendon College in the state of Texas. [1]
In 2013, he transferred to Ryerson University [2] and became a key contributor for the Rams and coach Roy Rana right away. After 73 career games played for Ryerson, the guard posted career game averages of 14.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.6 steals. In four years, Peter-McNeilly shot 40.8 percent from three-point-land (150-of-368). [3] He earned numerous honours at Ryerson, including 2017 All-Canada First Team accolades, CIS Tournament All-Star distinction in 2015, 2016 and 2017, All-OUA First Team recognition in 2016 and 2017 and the R.W. Pugh Fair Play Award in 2014–15. [4] In 2015–16, he was a finalist for the D.H. Craighead Outstanding Contribution to Interuniversity Sport, Campus and Community Life award. [3]
Peter-McNeilly signed a deal with the MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg organization of the German top-flight Bundesliga in July 2017 to get his professional career underway. [5] In July 2018, he was signed by fellow Bundesliga side Mitteldeutscher BC. [6]
He played for the Edmonton Stingers in the 2020 CEBL season, winning the championship. Peter-McNeilly rejoined the team for the 2021 season. On December 27, 2021, he signed with ABC Athletic Constanța of the Romanian Liga Națională. [7] He returned to Edmonton soon to join the team for their maiden campaign in the 2021–22 BCL Americas. On June 27, 2023, Peter-McNeilly signed with Río Ourense Termal of the LEB Oro. [9]
He competed for Canada at the 2015 World University Games in Gwangju. [10]

The CEBL Player of the Year Award, also referred to as the CEBL Most Valuable Player, is an annual award given to the most valuable player in the Canadian Elite Basketball League. Since the establishment of the league in 2019, the award has been given annually. Xavier Moon won the first three awards.
The 2021 CEBL season was the third season of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL). It began on June 24, 2021. The CEBL planned to have fans at the home arenas, depending on the situation of the pandemic but would have had regional bubbles if needed. On June 10, 2021, the league announced that teams would be playing at their home arenas, but fans are still dependant on the provincial governments. On June 21, 2021, the league announced the playoffs would start on August 14, where four teams will play for two spots in the Championship Weekend. The final two spots will be filled in by the top team in the league and by the host team, Edmonton Stingers. The Championship Weekend will be held from August 18 to 22. Starting July 21, all seven teams were allowed to bring some amount of fans to the home games. The Edmonton Stingers defeated the Niagara River Lions 101–65 for their 2nd consecutive CEBL title, becoming the league's first back-to-back champions.
