Aditya Hasan is an Indian film and television director and writer, known for his work in the Telugu film industry. [1] He gained recognition for his web series 90's - A Middle Class Biopic (2024) featured Sontineni Sivaji and Anand Sai which premiered on ETV Win. [2]

Career

Hasan began his career in the film industry after transitioning from a background in hotel management. He initially worked on various jobs, including driving for Rapido and working in a BPO, to support himself while pursuing his filmmaking aspirations. His journey from being a hotel management graduate to being a director in the film industry [1] [3] The #90's - A Middle Class Biopic most popular Telugu series across India and After the success of Season 1, Aditya seeks to realise Seasons 2 and 3 of #90's A middle-class biopic. [4] The series, which premiered on ETV Win, received critical acclaim for its authentic portrayal of middle-class life in the 1990s.[ citation needed ]

His first major project was a film titled "Teacher," which Hasan wrote and directed. The film, starring Swathi, tells the story of a prostitute who changes the life of a 10th-grade student. Although the film was completed, it faced distribution issues and was not released. [5] He reported to be collaborating with Telugu actor Nithiin on an upcoming film project. [6]
