Manasuku Nachindi is a 2018 Indian Telugu-language romantic drama film directed by debutante Manjula Ghattamaneni. It is jointly produced by Sanjay Swaroop and P. Chalo is a 2018 Indian Telugu-language comedy drama film written and directed by director Venky Kudumula marking his debut as a director. The film, produced by Usha Mulpuri on Ira Creations banner features Naga Shourya and Rashmika Mandanna. Mahati Swara Sagar composed the soundtrack and the background score for the film while Sai Sriram provided the cinematography and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao did the editing for the film. The film was extensively shot in Hyderabad.
Tikli and Laxmi Bomb is an Indian film released on Netflix, directed by Aditya Kripalani based on revolution in the sex trade, the story of which revolves around two sex workers in Mumbai, India who decide to attain autonomy in their profession by running a small part of the sex trade by women and for women.
Athisayangalude Venal is a 2017 Indian Malayalam-language drama film directed by Prasanth Vijay. It is produced by Nikhil Narendran under the banner of Iceskating in Tropics and has Chandra Kiran GK, Reina Maria and Arya Manikandan in the lead roles. Chandra Kiran won a Special Jury Mention for his acting at the 48th Kerala State Film Awards and was declared the Best Actor of the 2018 Singapore South Asian International Film Festival. The film won the best debut award at the 2018 UK Asian Film Festival. In 2019, the film also featured in the list of 'The Best 200 Indian Films of the Decade' by Rediff.com.

Jonaki (Firefly) is a 2018 Bengali-language psychological drama film directed by Aditya Vikram Sengupta and produced by Samir Sarkar. An India, France, Singapore co production the film is produced by Magic Hour Films in association with For Films and Catherine Dussart Production. Jonaki is the "dream" of an 81-year-old woman who in her comatose state revisits her tumultuous life through surrealistic images of painful echoing memories. The film stars late Lolita Chatterjee, Jim Sarbh, Ratnabali Bhattacharjee and Sumanto Chattopadhyay.
