Adrian Baldovin (born 5 October 1971) is a Romanian former football defender. [2] After he ended his playing career, Baldovin worked as a manager at teams from the Romanian lower leagues. [3]

Alexandru "Alex" Bălţoi is a Romanian former footballer who played as a forward. Bălţoi made his Liga I debut on 4 March 2000 for Dinamo București, in a 1–0 victory against Extensiv Craiova. In his career Alex played for various Romanian clubs, among others: Dinamo București, Farul Constanţa, Oțelul Galați, Argeş Piteşti, UTA Arad, Brașov or Ceahlăul Piatra Neamţ. He also played for a short period in Moldova, for CSCA–Rapid Chişinău. Bălțoi retired in 2017, his last club was Liga III side Atletico Vaslui, where he was also the assistant manager, for a short time.

The 2019–20 Liga II was the 80th season of the Liga II, the second tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began on 3 August 2019 and ended on 2 August 2020. A total of 20 teams contested the league. It was the fourth Liga II season with a single series. The season was initially scheduled to be played in a round-robin tournament. The first two teams would be promoted to Liga I at the end of the season and the third-placed team would play a play-off match against the 12th-placed team from Liga I. The last five teams would relegate to Liga III.

The 2020–21 Liga II was the 81st season of the Liga II, the second tier of the Romanian football league system. A total of 21 teams contested the league, instead of 20, due to the no relegation rule imposed in the previous season by the suspension of the league due to COVID-19 pandemic. It was the fifth Liga II season with a single series. In the regular season each team played every other team once, followed by a promotion play-off and a relegation play-out. Gheorghe Barbu was a Romanian footballer who played as a forward and midfielder. After he ended his playing career he worked as a manager, mainly at teams from the Romanian lower leagues, with a short spell in the first league at Universitatea Cluj. Barbu died in his sleep on 31 October 2021 at age 53.

Liga IV Brăila is the county football division of Liga IV for clubs based in Brăila County, România. The competition is ranked as the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system and it is competed between 11 teams, the winner may or may not be promoted to Liga III, depending on the result of a promotion play-off that is disputed against a winner of the neighboring counties series.

The 2019–20 Liga IV Brăila was the 52nd season of the Liga IV Brăila, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began on 24 August 2019 and was scheduled to end in June 2020, but was suspended in March because of the COVID-19 pandemic in Romania.

The 2021–22 season is the 33rd professional football season in Farul Constanța's existence, and the 19th in the top-flight of Romanian football. Farul competes in Liga I and in the Cupa României.On 21 June 2021, Gheorghe Hagi, Gheorghe Popescu and Ciprian Marica announced in a press conference that their teams have merged. The club that would continue in the Liga I will be FCV Farul. Farul will play in the Liga I on Viitorul's place and its home matches will be disputed on Viitorul Stadium, due to Farul Stadium advance state of degradation.
