Adrian Wilhelm Jochen Hoesch (born 9 February 1993) [1] is a German-American competitive sailor. He competed in the 2020 Summer Olympics in the Men's Two Person Dinghy - 470 for American Samoa, placing 19th. [2]

Hoesch is from Germany but has an American passport. He was educated at the University of Passau, completing a bachelor's degree in business administration, and at the Hult International Business School in Cambridge, Massachusetts, completing a masters in finance and international business. [1] He has previously worked as a business analyst. [1]

Hoesch previously won Bronze when representing Germany at the 2013 Junior European Championships. [3] [4] [5] He represented the Bavarian Yacht Club at the 2018 New York Yacht Club Global Team Race Regatta. [6] In 2020 he and Tyler Paige qualified for the 2020 Olympics for American Samoa at Sail Melbourne. [7]

Sailing competitions at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo took place from 25 July to 4 August 2021 at the Enoshima Yacht Harbor in Enoshima. Anton Carl Diderik Dahlberg is a Swedish sailor, who specializes in the 470 class, a two-person dinghy. He has represented Sweden, along with his partner Sebastian Östling, in two editions of the Olympic Games, and with Fredrik Bergström in 2016 and 2020, winning an Olympic silver in 2020. He has been representing the Royal Swedish Yacht Club throughout most of his career.

Chester Yacht Club (CYC) is a private yacht club located in Chester, Nova Scotia, Canada, established in 1902. The Chester Yacht Club is home to Canada's largest keelboat regatta, Chester Race Week, which occurs every August. Notable members of the Chester Yacht Club include Olympians Jacob Saunders and Graeme Saunders, who started sailing with the club's junior sailing school in 2002, and philanthropist Sir Christopher Ondaatje, who owns a nearby island.
