Adrian Kebbe (born 11 August 1958) is a retired Australian weightlifter and Presbyterian Minister.
Kebbe won a silver medal at the 1978 Commonwealth Games in Edmonton, Canada. [1] Competing in the Lightweight – Overall category, he lifted 267.5 kg. [2] As of 2018, Australia leads in all-time weightlifting medals at the Commonwealth Games, with Kebbe contributing to the 52 silver medals that the nation has won since the sport was added to the games in 1950.
The following year at the 1979 World Weightlifting Championships in Thessaloniki, Greece, Kebbe lifted 117.5 kg in the snatch and 147.5 kg in the clean and jerk, but placed 15th and did not medal. [3] (The gold medal in Kebbe's class at that competition went to Bulgarian Yanko Rusev, who set a then world record with a total of 332.5 kg.)
Since retiring from weightlifting, Kebbe has written a book titled The world's best kept secret: the ultimate search for significance and meaning (Viva Press, 1997; ISBN 0-646-32552-3) and has worked as a magician, performing professionally as comedy magician 'Harry Houdidn't'. [4] He is currently the pastor of Templestowe Presbyterian Church in Victoria. [5]
Robert Kabbas is a retired weightlifter from Australia, who won the silver medal in the Lightheavyweight (82.5 kg) category at the 1984 Summer Olympics.
Stefan Khristov Botev is an Olympic weightlifter who represented Bulgaria and later competed for Australia. He was coached by Ivan Abadzhiev. Botev is a two-time world and European champion, winner of the World Cup in 1988 and was voted as Bulgaria's Sportsperson of the Year in 1990. Stefan is a two-time Olympic bronze medalist - once for Bulgaria in 1992 and once for Australia in 1996. Botev is a three-time gold medalist from the Goodwill Games in Seattle in 1990.

Damon Joseph Kelly is an Australian weightlifter who competed at the 2008 Olympic Games finishing ninth. Damon recorded lifts of 165 kg in the Snatch and 221 kg in the Clean and Jerk with a total of 386 kg. He was the biggest member of the Australian Olympic Team and was Australia's only male weightlifter at the Games, having secured the sole position with a personal best lift on his final attempt at the Olympic Nomination Trials.

Nauru took part in the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, sending six athletes to compete in boxing and weightlifting. Nauru has won medals in every edition of the Commonwealth Games since it first took part in 1990, and in particular won fifteen medals in weightlifting at the 2002 Games in Manchester.
Deborah Esther Ainslie Acason is an Australian weightlifter. Initially a discus thrower, she won three silver medals at the 2002 Commonwealth Games, a gold medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games and a bronze medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games. She also participated in the 2004 and 2008 Olympic games. She also won awards in cycling, winning the 2005 Queensland open Keirin title, as well as gold medals in the 1 Lap Time Trial and Team Sprint. She competed at the 2018 Commonwealth Games where she placed 4th. This was her 5th Commonwealth Games Appearance.
Seen Lee is an Australian weightlifter. She won a bronze medal at the 2002 Commonwealth Games and a silver at the 2010 Commonwealth Games. She represented Australia in weightlifting at the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Lauititi Lui is a Samoan male weightlifter, competing in the +105 kg category and representing Samoa at international competitions. He participated at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in the +105 kg event. He won the silver medal at the 2015 Pacific Games, lifting a total of 362 kg and the bronze medal at the 2016 Oceania Weightlifting Championships, lifting a total of 368 kg. Maude G. Charron is a Canadian weightlifter, who competes in the 63/64 kg category and represents Canada at international competitions. She is an Olympic and Commonwealth Games champion in the women's 64 kg division. Charron also owns the clean & jerk Commonwealth Games record, the snatch and total Canadian weightlifting records, all the Panamerican records in her weight class.
Ragala Venkat Rahul is an Indian weightlifter who won the gold medal in the men's 85 kg weight class at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia.
Talha Talib is a Pakistani weightlifter from Gujranwala. He is the Pakistani national champion in the 62 kg category. He set a new record at the games in snatch as he lifted 132 kg in the third attempt with 127 kg and 130 kg in the first two attempts, respectively. He was also a gold medalist at the 2016 Commonwealth Youth Weightlifting Championships in Penang. He lifted 258 kg to clinch the gold. He is currently the top No. 1 ranked weightlifter of Pakistan.
