Agartala City Baptist Church (Krishnanagar Baptist Church) is a Baptist Church in the city of Agartala, the capital of Tripura state in India. It is affiliated to the Tripura Baptist Christian Union (TBCU) and is located in Krishnanagar locality in the central part of Agartala city.
The Church was set up in 1987 by some Christians leaders of that time. As time evolved the church grew in members and in faith. As of 2012 [update] there are more than 130 registered members.

The Tripura Baptist Christian Union (TBCU) is a Baptist Christian denomination in Tripura, India. It has its head office in Agartala, the state capital. The TBCU is affiliated to the Asia Pacific Baptist Federation (APBF) and the Baptist World Alliance (BWA). It is also a member church in the North East India Christian Council (NEICC), a regional church body of the National Council of Churches in India (NCCI). As of 2020, TBCU had 84,795 members in 943 churches.

Abhicharan is a village in Sadar sub-division of West Tripura district of Tripura, India. The people here belong to the Tripuri tribe and they speak Kokborok. The government figure for the population is 2822. The village has amenities like telephones, schools, rice-mill, markets and also it is connected with the nearby town of Khayerpur via Kisong. It is also connected to Agartala through Kamalghat junction. A Tripura State Rifles out-post is located in this village, which looks after the security problems of this village, as this village is very strategic in location. It is situated right in the heart of Sadar sub-division. From here the villages of the interiors can be accessed very well through village unmetalled roads.
The All Tripura Tiger Force (ATTF) was a Tripuri nationalist militant group active in India's Tripura State. It was founded on 11 July 1990, by a group of former Tripura National Volunteer members under the leadership of Ranjit Debbarma. The ATTF is considered a terrorist organisation by India. According to the South Asian Terrorism Portal, approximately 90% of the ATTF's administration are Hindu and the rest are Christians. The group was said to have been formed as the armed wing of the National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) but split into its own organization. The group was headquartered in Tarabon in Bangladesh.

It is the common youth organization of all the Kokborok speaking Baptist youths in Agartala city. The member includes youth from six Baptist Churches which are located in the capital city.

KOK Baptist Association (KOKBA) is a Kokborok speaking Baptist community in Tripura. It is located within the Khowai district of Tripura in India. It has around 3,800 communicant members in 60 churches.
Jampui Sakhan Baptist Association (JSBA) is one of the Baptist Christian associations affiliated to the state level Tripura Baptist Christian Union with headquarters at Agartala, Tripura in North East India. JSBA is one of the oldest associations under the TBCU and one of its biggest contributors.
North East India Christian Council (NEICC) is a Protestant ecumenical council of North East India, affiliated to the National Council of Churches in India as one of the regional councils in the year 1939.
National Twipra Christian Fellowship (NTCF) is an association of Christian church fellowships in India and Bangladesh composed of Tripuri Christians. NTCF was founded on 20 August 2011 and the present leadership is at Shillong, Meghalaya. There at present 18 city fellowships which are associated with the NTCF as of 2017. The Annual NTCF Conference is the main program of the organization which is organized in a selected city in India.
The Tripura Presbyterian Church Synod is one of the constituent units of the Presbyterian Church of India. It has its headquarters in Agartala, Tripura. It has 325 churches and 22,277 members mostly among the indigenous peoples of Tripura.
