Nelvana Limited is a Canadian animation studio and entertainment company owned by Corus Entertainment. Founded in July 1971 by Michael Hirsh, Patrick Loubert, and Clive A. Smith, it was named after Nelvana of the Northern Lights, the first Canadian national superhero, who was created by Adrian Dingle. The company's production logo is a polar bear looking at Polaris, the North Star.

It is based on the Little Bear series of books, which were written by Else Holmelund Minarik and illustrated by Maurice Sendak. In the United States, the show premiered on Nickelodeon as part of the Nick Jr. block on November 6, 1995, until the final episode aired on June 1, 2001. The show also aired on CBS on Saturday mornings from September 16, 2000, until September 15, 2001.
The Berenstain Bears is a preschool children's animated television educational series based on the children's book series of the same name by Stan and Jan Berenstain, and produced by Nelvana, which aired on Treehouse TV. Acting as a remake of the 1985–1987 cartoon series of the same name, the series follows the lives of a family of anthropomorphic bears who learn a moral or safety-related lesson during the course of each episode.
Corduroy is a Canadian animated children's television series based on Don Freeman's 1968 children's book Corduroy and its 1978 follow-up A Pocket for Corduroy. It originally aired for one season on TVOKids in Canada and PBS Kids' Bookworm Bunch in the U.S. in 2000. After the final episode, repeats were aired until October 28, 2001, when it was cancelled along with Elliot Moose. The show consists of 26 10-minute stories, which were broadcast in pairs as 13 21-minute episodes. Corduroy appeared on the PBS Kids Bookworm Bunch in his own segment.
Little Airplane Productions was an American television production company co-founded by Josh Selig and Lori Shaer in 1999. The company produced Oobi for Noggin, Wonder Pets! for Nickelodeon, and 3rd & Bird for the BBC. It also released independent short films. In 2017, the company was bought by the European-based Studio 100, which entered a co-production agreement to create the comedy series Doctor Space with Little Airplane.
Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Friends, sometimes shortened to Sunny Patch, is a computer-animated children's television series produced by Nelvana in association with AbsoluteDigital Pictures and Callaway Arts & Entertainment as a follow-up to Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Kids. It was based on David Kirk's Sunny Patch brand and the accompanying Miss Spider book series. In Canada, the show aired on Treehouse TV. In the United States, it aired on Nick Jr. 44 episodes were produced.
