Agent Vinod is a 1977 Indian Hindi-language action spy film directed by Deepak Bahry. The film stars Mahendra Sandhu as a dashing Indian secret agent and Jagdeep as a comic side-kick. It turned out to be a surprise hit and was remade into the 2012 Hindi film of the same name. [1]
The kidnapping of a prominent nuclear scientist, Ajay Saxena prompts the Chief of Secret Services to assign flamboyant Agent Vinod to this case. While on this assignment, Vinod meets with Ajay's daughter, Anju, who insists on assisting him. The duo are then further assisted by Chandu "James Bond" and his gypsy girlfriend. The two couples will soon have numerous challenges thrust on them, and will realize that their task is not only very difficult, but also life-threatening.

Phool Aur Kaante is a 1991 Indian Hindi-language action-romance film directed by Kuku Kohli. It stars Ajay Devgan, Madhoo, Aruna Irani, Jagdeep and Amrish Puri among others. The film marked the debut of Devgan, son of late stunt and action choreographer Veeru Devgan, and Madhoo, niece of actress Hema Malini. The film was a superhit and won Devgan the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for 1991. This film was remade in Telugu as Varasudu and in Odia as Dhire Dhire Prema Hela. The film is loosely based on the Malayalam film Parampara directed by Sibi Malayil where Mammootty plays dual roles as Johnny, the protagonist and Lawrence, his father.
Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani is a 2000 Indian Hindi-language drama film released by Dreamz Unlimited. The producers derived the title from lines of the song "Mera Joota Hai Japani" from Shree 420 (1955). Directed by Aziz Mirza, the film focuses on TV media wars. Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla play Ajay Bakshi and Ria Banerjee, respectively, who are two television reporters for rival news channels, KTV and Galaxy TV. They try to save the life of a man, who has been fixed by politicians for the death of his brother, from a death sentence. The film marked the first production venture by Khan, Chawla, and Mirza under their production company Dreamz Unlimited, now Red Chillies Entertainment. The film won the IIFA Award for Best Special Effects.
