Pakistan Television Corporation is the Pakistani state-owned broadcaster founded by the Government of Pakistan,owned by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. It was established on 26 November 1964,with a pilot television station established at Lahore.

Aftab Ghulam Nabi KaziSPk,SK,also known as AGN Kazi,was a Pakistani civil servant and a bureaucrat during the Cold War and during the post cold war. Kazi was born in Sindh,Bombay Presidency,in 1919 to an academic family. He started his career in the Indian Civil Service in 1944 and served as the Deputy Commissioner of Bihar and Orissa. After the partition of India,Kazi migrated to Pakistan and joined the Provincial Government of Sindh,and held positions such as Secretary of Finance and Secretary to the Governor.
Rear Admiral Agha DanishHI(m),SI(M),is a retired two-star rank admiral and a senior naval aviator in the Pakistan Navy. Starting his career in the Operations Branch of the Navy as a General Duty Pilot,the Admiral's last appointment was the Naval Field Command where he was responsible for overseeing operational and war preparedness of all air,surface and sub-surface units of the Pakistan Naval Fleet.
Vice-Admiral Syed Mohammad AhsanHQA,SPk,DSC,DMM,LOM often known as S. M. Ahsan,was a senior admiral of the Pakistan Navy who was the Commander in Chief of the Pakistan Navy,serving under President Ayub Khan from 1966 until 1969.
The Pakistan Administrative Service,or PAS is an elite cadre of the Civil Services of Pakistan. The Pakistan Administrative Service over the years has emerged as the most consolidated and developed post-colonial institution in Pakistan,with the PAS officers of Grade 22 often seen as stronger than the federal government ministers. The service of PAS is generalist in nature and officers are assigned to different departments all across Pakistan during the course of their careers. Rabiya Javeri Agha is the Chairperson of the National Commission for Human Rights (NCHR) in Pakistan,and a retired civil servant officer who served in the Government of Pakistan in BPS-22 grade as Federal Secretary. She was the first unanimously elected female President of the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) Officers Association,and she has had an extensive career ranging from human rights,women's development,sustainable tourism,energy,finance and trade.
Tariq Bajwa is a retired Pakistani civil servant who served in BPS-22 grade as the Finance Secretary and Economic Affairs Secretary of Pakistan. Bajwa also served as the 19th Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan and the 20th Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue. He is the only Pakistani who won the Littauer fellowship at Harvard University. He also received a master's degree in Public Administration from the same institution. Rizwan Ahmed is the current Member of Sindh Public Service Commission and a former grade 22 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service who served at the highest civil service office of Federal Secretary. He did his two-year Masters in Public Administration from Harvard University and joined the civil service in 1988. Rizwan holds the rare honour of having served as the chief executive of four state-owned companies under the Government of Pakistan. He was promoted to the country's top bureaucratic rank of grade 22 in 2017.

Grade 22 is the highest attainable rank for a Civil Servant in Pakistan. Grade 22 is equal to a 4-star rank of the Pakistan Armed Forces. With over five hundred thousand civil servants and bureaucrats in Pakistan,only a few dozen officers serve in BPS-22 grade at a given time. Hence,not even 2% of the country's civil servants and/or bureaucrats make it to the highest rank. Officers serving in BPS-22 grade are largely considered to be the most influential individuals in the country.

Kamran Lashari is a Pakistani retired civil servant of the Pakistan Administrative Service who served in BPS-22 grade at the top bureaucratic offices including as Petroleum Secretary of Pakistan and Chief Secretary Sindh. Lashari is best known for his five-year stint as chairman of the Capital Development Authority during the government of Pervez Musharraf. After retirement from active civil service,Lashari remained president of the Lahore Gymkhana and director general of the Walled City of Lahore Authority.
