Katagum is a town, a local government area and a traditional emirate in Bauchi State of north eastern Nigeria. There are three major languages in Pandogari town; they are Hausa, Fulani Ɓurawa and kamuku. In 2016, there was a religious conflict between Christians and Muslims in Pandogari which resulted in the death of four people, including a 24 year old young student.
Alhaji Abbas Njidda Tafida is the Emir of Muri in Jalingo Taraba state, Nigeria. As 12th Emir of Muri, he ascended to the throne on 12 July 1988 after the dethronement of Alhaji Umaru Abba Tukur.
Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa also known with his honorific as Sheikh Daurawa, is a Nigerian Islamic Scholar from Kano state. His father is a famous Researcher called Sheikh Ibrahim Muhammad Mai Tafsiri, Sheikh Daurawa appointed by Kano State governor Abba Kabir Yusuf in 2023 as commander of Hisbah Kano.
Alhaji Muhammad Bara'u Mu’azu II the 7th Sarkin Sudan was born in 1974 to the late Mu’azu Ibrahim. The grandson of the late Sarkin Sudan Ibrahim Nagwamatse.
