Alhaji Ahmad Garba Gunna (born January 1, 1975) is the current Emir of Kagara Emirate, assuming the position on April 7, 2021, succeeding Alhaji Salihu Tanko. [2] Gunna's ascension as the Emir followed the demise of his predecessor, Alhaji Salihu Tanko, on March 2, 2021. [3] [4]

Education

Gunna's early education began at Gandun Albasa Primary School before continuing to Government Day Secondary School Sharada, both located in Kano. He pursued higher education at Kebbi State Polytechnic, specializing in Public Administration. Subsequently, he attained a BSc in Mathematics from the Federal University Abuja. Following his education, he served in Kwara State. [5]

Professionally, he served within the Niger State Revenue Board, notably holding the position of acting chairman of the board. [6]

Alhaji Ahmad Garba Gunna is married and has four children. [7]

Katagum is a town, a local government area and a traditional emirate in Bauchi State of north eastern Nigeria. Pandogari is a town (ward) in Kagara, the capital of Rafi local government in Niger State, Nigeria. There is a large Hill which called Kongoma hill, in Fulfulde (Kwangwamaje), Kongoma hill located at the eastern Pandogari. The distance from the state capital Minna to Pandogari is about 156.7km. Pandogari is headed by a district head called Hakimi in Hausa language, and the current Hakimi of Pandogari is Alhaji Idris Aliyu Jibril. There are three major languages in Pandogari town; they are Hausa, Fulani Ɓurawa and kamuku. In 2016, there was a religious conflict between Christians and Muslims in Pandogari which resulted in the death of four people, including a 24 year old young student.

Alhaji Muhammad Bara'u Mu’azu II the 7th Sarkin Sudan was born in 1974 to the late Mu’azu Ibrahim. The grandson of the late Sarkin Sudan Ibrahim Nagwamatse.
