Bahrain made its Paralympic Games début the same year as its Olympic début, at the 1984 Summer Paralympics in Stoke Mandeville and New York City, sending a delegation to compete in athletics. The country has participated in every subsequent edition of the Summer Paralympics, but has never taken part in the Winter Paralympics.
Bahrain competed at the 2004 Summer Paralympics in Athens, Greece. The team included five athletes, all of whom were men. Ahmed Meshaima won the nation's only medal at the Games, a silver in the men's shot put F37.
Mi Na is a Paralympic athlete from China. She competes in throwing events for F37 classification cerebral palsy athletes. From April 2014 until September 2016 she held the women's F37 World Record in the shot put. She holds the world record in the F37 discus throw. She won 9 medals at the Paralympic Games and 12 medals at the IPC Athletics World Championships.

Beverley Jones is a Paralympian from Wales competing in category F37 throwing events. Jones won a bronze medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games as an EAD in the 100m sprint. Jones has qualified for four Summer Paralympics from 2000 to 2012 finishing fourth twice, in the sprint in 2000 at Sydney and in the shot put at Athens in 2004.
Egypt competed at the 1992 Summer Paralympics in Barcelona, Spain. The 41 member team competed in athletics, powerlifting and shooting. They won 20 medals including 7 gold, 6 silver and 7 bronze, finishing 19th on the medal table. Members of the team included athletics competitors Ahmed Mohamed, Said Afifi, Aymen Ibrahim, Hany Mohamed, Mohamed Abdulla Mohamed and Mohamed Said, and shooter Sherif Abd Alla.
Ibrahim Ahmed Abdelwareth is an Egyptian track and field athlete who competes in the F44 classification, mainly in throwing events. Abdelwareth represented Egypt at the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London, where he entered both the discus and shot put in the F37/F38. He finished eighth in the discus, but found success in the shot put where a throw of 15.53 gave him the silver medal. Abdelwareth has also found success at the World Championships winning gold in the 2011 IPC Athletics World Championships in Christchurch. As of 2013, Abdelwareth was reclassified as a T44 athlete, where he has found it difficult to repeat his earlier success.
Khusniddin Norbekov is a Uzbekistani Paralympic athlete with cerebral palsy. He represented Uzbekistan at the Summer Paralympics in 2012, 2016 and 2021. In total, he won two gold medals and one bronze medal. At the 2016 Summer Paralympics, he won the gold medal in the men's discus throw F37 and the bronze medal in the men's shot put F37 event. At the 2020 Summer Paralympics, he won the gold medal in the men's shot put F35 event.
