Ai is an unincorporated community in Gilmer County, Georgia, United States.
A post office called Ai was established in 1920, and remained in operation until 1932. [2] The community was named after Ai, a place mentioned in the Hebrew Bible. [3] Ai was located inland away from the railroad. [4]

Poultry raising and processing makes up the largest portion of the agricultural economy, which generates 33.2% of the total revenues. Manufacturing is about 20%.
