Ai Shishime (志々目 愛, Shishime Ai, born 25 January 1994) is a Japanese retired [1] judoka. [2] [3] She is a two-time gold medalist in the women's 52 kg event at the World Judo Championships.

Career

She won a gold medal at the 2017 World Judo Championships in Budapest. [4]

In 2019, she won the gold medal in the women's 52 kg event at the Judo World Masters held in Qingdao, China. [5] In January 2021, she won the silver medal in her event at the Judo World Masters held in Doha, Qatar. [6] [7] In June 2021, she won the silver medal in the women's 52 kg event at the World Judo Championships held in Budapest, Hungary. [8]
