Ajai Lall is a Christian preacher and missionary in India. He is the founder and first Executive Director of Central India Christian Mission. Lall is associated with the Christian churches and churches of Christ, which is part of the Restoration Movement. [1]
Ajai Lall was born and raised in India. Before coming to the United States, Lall had earned a degree in criminal law from the University of Sagar with the intention of becoming a lawyer. [2] He was highly influenced by his father, Vijai Lall, and sensed the call from God to serve the suffering humanity, that led him to become a preacher instead. [2] He graduated from Mid-Atlantic Christian University, in 1982. [3] He then returned to India and earned a MA in Humanities and a PhD in Public Administration from the University of Sagar. [4] In addition, he has studied at Dallas Christian College and Cincinnati Christian University. [4]
Lall and his wife, Indu, founded Central India Christian Mission in 1982, with Lall serving as its executive director. As of 2009, Central India Christian Mission had over 800 employees, and had started a 140 bedded hospital, a Nursing college, a publication ministry, Children's ministry, Bible Colleges, mostly in India. [1] [5] Lall makes frequent trips to the United States for speaking in conferences, conventions, Universities and Churches. He founded The Atma Vikas Sanstha to train thousands of people for various trades in order to become self-supporting.
Lall gave the keynote address at the 2008 North American Christian Convention in Cincinnati, Ohio. [8] [9] Lall was also appointed by the Prime Minister of India to its National Youth Council and has authored four books in Hindi. [4] [10] He currently is President of the World Convention of Churches of Christ. [11]

Andhra Christian Theological College (ACTC) is a seminary in Telangana which was founded in 1964. It is affiliated with India's first university, the Senate of Serampore College (University), and has degree-granting authority under a Danish charter ratified by the government of West Bengal. ACTC is on the Hussain Sagar canal (north) in Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, about 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) from the Secunderabad Junction railway station.
The Maramon Convention, is the largest Christian convention in Asia, held at Maramon, Pathanamthitta, Kerala, India annually in February on the vast sand-bed of the Pampa River next to the Kozhencherry Bridge. The World Convention of Churches of Christ is a Christian world communion that links Restoration Movement churches known by a range of names including Christian churches and churches of Christ, Churches of Christ, and Christian Church. The first Global Gathering of the World Convention was held in Washington, D.C. in 1930 at the initiative of evangelist Jesse Bader. The convention continues to organize regular international gatherings. The 19th Global Gathering was held in Damoh, India, January 12–15, 2018 and the next was scheduled for Manzini, Swaziland but postponed because of "internal tensions". Between these events, the World Convention seeks to build effective relationships among its member churches and promote Christian unity across the world.

Pushpa Ratna Sagar was a Nepalese merchant, grammarian, lexicographer and pioneer pressman. Born Pushpa Ratna Tuladhar in Asan Dhalasikwa, Kathmandu, he acquired the nickname Sagar in his childhood during a pilgrimage to Ganga Sagar in India. He was the third and youngest son of trader Pushpa Sundar Tuladhar and his wife Dhan Maya.

Evangelization of Meghalaya began in the 19th century during the British era. In the 1830s, American Baptist Foreign Missionary Society had become active in Northeast to evangelize indigenous tribes to Christianity. Later, they were offered to expand and reach into Sohra Meghalaya, but they lacked the resources to do so and declined. Welsh Presbyterian Mission took the offer and they began work at Sohra mission field. By the early 1900s, other Protestant denominations of Christianity were active in Meghalaya. The outbreak of World Wars forced the preachers to return home to Europe and America. It is during this period that Catholicism took root in Meghalaya and neighbouring region. Currently, Catholics, Presbyterians and Baptists are three most common Christian denominations found in Meghalaya.

Acharya A. B. Masilamani or Abel Boanerges Masilamani (1914–1990) was a Golden Jubilee Baptist pastor and evangelist on whom parallels had been drawn comparing his ecclesiastical ministry with that of Saint Paul. The Mar Thoma Syrian Church, one of the Saint Thomas Christian Churches founded by Thomas the Apostle in the first century which holds the annual Maramon Conventions used to have Masilamani preach at its conventions since the 1970s. During one such Maramon Convention held in 1983 at Maramon, Masilamani was one of the main speaker who spoke on Christology in the presence of the two patriarchs of the Mar Thoma Church, Alexander Mar Thoma and Thomas Mar Athanius.
