The Kingdom of Travancore, also known as the Kingdom of Thiruvithamkoor, was an Indian kingdom from c. 1729 until 1949. It was ruled by the Travancore Royal Family from Padmanabhapuram, and later Thiruvananthapuram. Thodupuzha is a municipal town located in Idukki district, Kerala, India, that covers an area of 35.43 km2 (13.68 sq mi). The stadium has hosted two Ranji Trophy match in 1965 when Kerala cricket team played against Andhra cricket team.
