Sushilkumar Sambhaji Shinde is an Indian politician from the state of Maharashtra. He was the Minister of Home Affairs,Minister of Power in the Manmohan Singh government,and the Leader of the House in Lok Sabha until 26 May 2014. He previously served as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra from 18 January 2003 to 4 November 2004.

In addition to the major national parties,other national and regional parties such as Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK),Shiromani Akali Dal,Shiv Sena,Samajwadi Party,Rashtriya Janata Dal,Janata Dal Secular,Jharkhand Mukti Morcha,Kerala Congress,Jammu &Kashmir National Conference,Indian Union Muslim League,AIMIM,and the Nationalist Congress Party are all dominated by families,mostly those of the party founders.
Meira Kumar is an Indian politician and former diplomat. A member of the Indian National Congress,she was the Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment from 2004 to 2009,the Minister of Water Resources for a brief period in 2009. She served as the 15th Speaker of Lok Sabha from 2009 to 2014,being the first woman to hold the post. He was first elected to the Lok Sabha in the 2009 Indian general election,when he succeeded and was nominated by Nitish Kumar in the constituency. He again won the Nalanda seat in the 2014 Indian general election. He won by a narrow margin of 9,627 votes. He won the seat with 46.06% and was elected Member of Parliament for Nagapattinam for 16th Lok Sabha.
Surendra Prasad Yadav is an Indian politician from the Rashtriya Janata Dal,and a Member of Parliament representing Jahanabad(Lok Sabha constituency) in Bihar,India and former Member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly. He also served as a member of 12th Lok Sabha of India from Jahanabad(Lok Sabha constituency). He was consecutively elected Eight times since 1990 to 2020 the Bihar Legislative Assembly.
The 17th Lok Sabha was formed by the members elected in the 2019 Indian general election. Elections,all across India,were conducted in seven phases from 11 April 2019 to 19 May 2019 by the Election Commission of India. Counting started officially on the morning of 23 May 2019 and the results were declared on the same day.
