Ajith Christopher Alirajah (born 25 September 1968) is a Sri Lankan former cricketer. He played thirteen first-class matches for Nondescripts Cricket Club between 1988 and 1991. [1] He was also part of Sri Lanka's squad for the 1988 Youth Cricket World Cup. [2] [3] He pursued his primary and secondary education at Saint Joseph's College,Colombo. He also played school cricket for St. Joseph's College. [4]
He later pursued his career in banking. He began his banking career at Standard Chartered and then worked as an Assistant General Manager in Trade Finance Services Department at Cargills Bank before becoming the Departmental Head of Trade Finance Services Department at Cargills Bank. [5] [6] [7]
The Sri Lanka men's national cricket team,nicknamed The Lions,represents Sri Lanka in men's international cricket. It is a Full Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) with Test,One-Day International (ODI) and T20 International (T20I) status. The team first played international cricket in 1926–27,and were later awarded Test status in 1981,which made Sri Lanka the eighth Test cricket playing nation. The team is administered by Sri Lanka Cricket.

Abdul Qadir Khan SI was an international cricketer who bowled leg spin for Pakistan. Qadir is widely regarded as a legendary leg spinners of the 1970s and 1980s and was a role model for up and coming leg spinners. Later he was a commentator and Chief Selector of the Pakistan Cricket Board,from which he resigned due to differences of opinion with leading Pakistan cricket administrators.

Gaddafi Stadium,previously known as Lahore Stadium is a cricket stadium in Lahore,Pakistan and the home ground of Lahore Qalandars. It is owned by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). With a capacity of 27,000,it is the fourth largest cricket stadium of Pakistan. Gaddafi Stadium was the first in Pakistan to be equipped with modern floodlights having their own standby power generators. Wickramasinghe Gallage Pramodya,commonly known as Pramodya Wickramasinghe,is a former Sri Lankan cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm-fast bowler. He was regarded as one of the fastest bowlers in 1990s. He was a member of 1996 Cricket World Cup winning team. He is the current national chief selector of both Sri Lanka men's and women's cricket teams.
Kaushalya Weeraratne also known as Kaushal Weeraratne is a former Sri Lankan international cricketer. After starting his international career as a bowler,he later moved up the order to become an all-rounder,batting in the middle order and bowling medium-fast. He is regarded as one of the players to have been included in the lost generation of Sri Lanka cricket according to Lasith Malinga,an elite list which include players who have performed consistently in domestic circuit for over ten years but had to toil hard to play in international cricket due to the presence of frontline players. Weeraratne once took 4 wickets in 5 balls in an Eastern Cricket Association Veterans game,which he described as his greatest ever bowling performance,given the quality of the opposition.
The National Bank Cricket Arena is a cricket stadium in Karachi,Pakistan,owned by the Pakistan Cricket Board. It is the home ground of Karachi Kings and Karachi's many other domestic cricket teams. It is the largest cricket stadium in Pakistan with a capacity of 34,228 spectators. It was built in early 1950s under the supervision of senior civil engineer Mr. Abdul Rasheed Khan (WP) and Mr. Kafiluddin (EP),was formally inaugurated in April 1955. Angelo Davis Mathews,is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer and a former captain in all formats. Even though he represented Sri Lanka in all three formats,Mathews currently plays Test cricket for Sri Lanka. He was also a key member of the team that won the 2014 ICC World Twenty20 and was part of the team that made the finals of 2011 Cricket World Cup,2009 ICC World Twenty20 and 2012 ICC World Twenty20. An occasional bowler who can deliver swinging match-winning spells,Mathews and Lasith Malinga holds the record for the highest ninth wicket partnership in ODI cricket. In July 2022,Mathews played in his 100th Test match for Sri Lanka.

Craig Richard Ervine is a Zimbabwean international cricketer who captains Zimbabwe in limited overs matches. Ervine is a left-handed batter. He was born in Harare and has played Test and limited overs cricket for the Zimbabwe national cricket team and first-class cricket for a variety of Zimbabwean sides in the Logan Cup. He holds Irish passport. In January 2022,in the opening fixture of the series against Sri Lanka,Ervine played in his 100th One Day International (ODI) match.
Ajith Nivard Cabraal is a Sri Lankan accountant and politician who was also the 16th Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. He is also the former State Minister of Finance,Capital Markets and State Enterprise Reforms and a national list member of parliament since 12 August 2020. He served as the Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka,holding the post from 1 July 2006 until his resignation on 9 January 2015. He again became the Governor of Central Bank of Sri Lanka in September 2021,replacing W. D. Lakshman,and resigned again in April 2022.
Frank Dimuth Madushanka Karunaratne,popularly known as Dimuth Karunaratne,is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer and current captain of the Sri Lanka Test cricket team. He is considered as one of the best Test openers in the world. He is a left-handed red ball specialist who represents the country in both Tests and ODIs,and also a former ODI captain. He is the opening batter for Sri Lanka in Test cricket and ODIs. He plays first-class cricket for the Sinhalese Sports Club.

P. Nandalal Weerasinghe is a Sri Lankan economist and banker who is also currently serving as the 17th Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. A career officer in the Central Bank of Sri Lanka,serving as its chief economist and senior deputy governor. He has also served as an alternative executive director at the International Monetary Fund in Washington DC representing the countries such as Sri Lanka,Bhutan,India and Bangladesh from January 2010 to August 2012. He has also previously acted as a chairman of the monetary policy committee and foreign reserve management committee of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
