Ajoba is a 2014 Indian Marathi-language film directed by Sujay Dahake and written by Gauri Bapat. It is allegedly based on true events [1] and relates to how a leopard trekked from Malshej Ghat to Mumbai in 29 days. Ajoba was rescued from a well and a tracking device was fixed on his neck, before being released back into the wild. [2] He made his way to Mumbai over the Sahyadris, a distance of 120 kilometres (75 mi). [3]

Kaksparsh is a 2012 Indian Marathi period drama film directed by Mahesh Manjrekar and produced by Aniruddha Deshpande and Medha Manjrekar. The film stars Sachin Khedekar, Priya Bapat, Medha Manjrekar, Savita Malpekar and Ketaki Mategaonkar. Based on a short story by Usha Datar by the same name, the film depicts the tumultuous events in a Chitpavan Brahmin family, set around 1930–1950 in Konkan. The supporting cast features Shivraj Waichal, Shivani Rangole, Ruturaj Shinde, Anshuman Joshi and Rohit Nikam.

Ravi Patwardhan was an Indian actor who appeared in Marathi-language and Hindi-language movies and TV serials and theater plays. He started his acting career in Marathi theatre, then pivoted to movies, and in the later part of career worked in TV shows. In the 80s and 90s, he was known for playing towering personalities as public prosecutor, judge, politician, and village Patil in films. This identity was further aided by his strong delivery and trademark handlebar moustache. Patwardhan acted in more than 200 films, 150 plays, and many TV serials.

Om Bhutkar is an Indian actor and writer who works in Marathi cinema occasionally in Hindi cinema. He is known for his role in Mulshi Pattern, made his first appearance in 2004 Hindi film Chhota Sipahi, which he won a National Film Award in "Best Child Artist" category.

<i>Shyamchi Aai</i> (2023 film) 2023 Indian film

Shyamchi Aai is a 2023 Indian Marathi-language drama film directed by Sujay Dahake, based on a famous autobiography of the same name written by writer and social activist Sane Guruji, starring Om Bhutkar, Mayur More, Sandeep Pathak, Sarang Sathye, Urmila Jagtap, Disha Katkar, Gandhar Joshi, Aniket Sagvekar and Jyoti Chandekar. The film was theatrically released on 10 November 2023.
