Hrishikesh Joshi completed his post graduation from National School of Drama, [1] in 1997 Acted in more than 50 plays in Hindi, Marathi and Sanskrit Represented India for Sri Lankan Theatre Festival in which performed ‘ Abhigyan Shakuntalam’ [2] in Sanskrit in Columbo and Candy.

Kaksparsh is a 2012 Indian Marathi period drama film directed by Mahesh Manjrekar and produced by Aniruddha Deshpande and Medha Manjrekar. The film stars Sachin Khedekar, Priya Bapat, Medha Manjrekar, Savita Malpekar and Ketaki Mategaonkar. Based on a short story by Usha Datar by the same name, the film depicts the tumultuous events in a Chitpavan Brahmin family, set around 1930–1950 in Konkan. The film was a commercial success and got critical acclaim for its direction, screenplay by Girish Joshi and also for the performances by its actors, especially Khedekar for his portrayal of Hari Damle as a head of the family.

Anand Abhyankar was an Indian Marathi film, television and theatre actor. He starred in films such as Spandan (2012), Balgandharva (2011), Matichya Chuli (2006), Vaastav (1999) and Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hain. On television, he is known for his roles in Mala Sasu Havi, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Fu Bai Fu, Avaghachi Sansar and Asambhav. Abhyankar died on 24 December 2012 in a car crash.

Vishnupant Damle : The Unsung Hero Of Talkies Is a national award-winning docudrama about life of Shri Vishnupant Damle – one of the founder members of the legendary Prabhat Film Company. V G Damle started his journey as a poor village boy and became a remarkable personality in the film history of India. In the early 19th century, he has worked as an art director, cameraman, sound recordist, producer and director, for many acclaimed films.

The Maharashtra State Film Award for Best Supporting Actor is an award, begun in 1962, presented annually at the Maharashtra State Film Awards of India to the supporting actor for best performance in a Marathi cinema. The awardees are decided by a jury constituted every year.
