The Akademietheater in Vienna, Austria, is the smaller of two performance halls of the Burgtheater organization. It was constructed in the years 1911 to 1913 by architects Fellner & Helmer and is considered today part of Austria's Federal Theatres (Bundestheater). Located on Lisztstrasse, in Vienna's third district, it is attached to its neighboring building, the Konzerthaus, a well-known performance venue for concerts.

Landstraße is the 3rd municipal district of Vienna, Austria. It is near the center of Vienna and was established in the 19th century. Landstraße is a heavily populated urban area with many workers and residential homes. It has 89,834 inhabitants in an area of 7.42 km2. It has existed since about 1200 AD. In 1192, the English king Richard the Lionheart was captured in the Erdberg neighbourhood, after the unsuccessful Third Crusade.
The Republic of Kugelmugel is a micronation located at the Prater in Vienna, Austria. The Republic declared independence in 1975, after disputes between artist Edwin Lipburger and Austrian authorities over building permits for a ball-shaped house which he erected at the Landesstraße 4091 in Katzelsdorf, Lower Austria in 1971. In 1979, Lipburger was arrested and sent to jail for ten weeks.
The University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna was founded in 1767 as the world's third school for veterinary medicine by Milan's Ludovico Scotti, originally named k. k. Pferde-Curen- und Operationsschule. Today, it has c. 2,800 students and c. 600 employees.

The Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna in Vienna, Austria, is a university of music and the arts. It was previously (2005−2015) named Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität, and before that Konservatorium Wien. It was established in 1938 as Musikschule der Stadt Wien. The school attained university status on 15 June 2005, as a private institution. The university also houses a location of the Viennese café Vollpension.

The Hohe Warte is a hill in the 19th district of the city of Vienna, Döbling between Heiligenstadt and Unterdöbling. There is also a street with the same name. In the 19th century, a number of villas were built on the Hohe Warte because it offered good views of the surrounding areas. Today, the Hohe Warte is best known firstly as the site of the Zentralanstalt für Meteorologie und Geodynamik, which is also often referred to as the Hohe Warte because of its address, secondly for the former presidential villa of the Austrian Bundespräsident, and thirdly for the stadium Casino-Stadion Hohe Warte.
