Akash Puri is an Indian actor who works in Telugu films. [2] [3] He started his career in 2008 as a child actor in the films Chirutha , Bujjigadu , Ek Niranjan , The Lotus Pond , Businessman , Dhoni and Gabbar Singh . [4]

Career

Puri made his debut as a child artist in Chirutha as a young Charan in 2007. The film was directed by his father Puri Jagannadh, starring Ramcharan and Neha Sharma. He has also done more 7 films as a child artist which includes Bujjigadu, Ek Niranjan, The Lotus Pond, Businessman, Dhoni and Gabbar Singh .

Puri made his debut as a lead actor in 2015 with the film Andhra Pori . After that, he made a film Mehbooba, which was directed by his father Puri Jagannadh. The film achieved a commercial hit. [6] He also starred in romantic film with Ketika Sharma which got mixed talk from viewers. [7]

He will next featured in romantic-action film Chor Bazaar directed by B. Jeevan Reddy. [8]

The film stars debutants Ram Charan and Neha Sharma alongside Prakash Raj and Ashish Vidyarthi while Tanikella Bharani, Sayaji Shinde, Daniel Balaji and Brahmanandam play supporting roles. The film revolves around Charan, a young man in pursuit of a gangster who murdered his parents.

Bujjigadu: Made in Chennai is a 2008 Indian Telugu-language action film directed by Puri Jagannadh and produced by K. S. Rama Rao. The film stars Prabhas, Mohan Babu and Trisha while Sanjjanaa and Kota Srinivasa Rao play supporting roles. The film released to mixed reviews and was moderately successful at the box office. It was later remade in Bangladesh as Pagla Deewana (2015) with Shahriaz and Pori Moni.

Pawan Kalyan is an Indian actor, film director, film producer, screenwriter, stunt coordinator, narrator, choreographer, playback singer and politician. His film works are predominantly in Telugu cinema. He is the youngest brother of popular actor Chiranjeevi. Pawan Kalyan made his acting debut in the 1996 Telugu film Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi. His next four films were all box-office successes namely Gokulamlo Seeta (1997), Suswagatham (1998), Tholi Prema (1998), and Thammudu (1999). Kalyan's subsequent films Puri Jagannadh's Badri (2000) and S. J. Suryah's Kushi (2001) were box office successes. He made his directorial debut with Johnny (2003), which was a box office failure. He followed this with a string of failures: Gudumba Shankar (2004), Balu (2005), Bangaram (2006), and Annavaram (2006). His film Gopala Gopala (2015) with Venkatesh was a moderate success while Sardaar Gabbar Singh, Katamarayudu, and Trivikram Srinivas's Agnyaathavaasi received negative reviews. Vakeel Saab (2021), the masala-laced adaptation of the courtroom drama Pink (2016), received positive reviews. His next film, Bheemla Nayak (2022), was a blockbuster and ended up becoming the fourth highest-grossing Telugu film of 2022.
