Aksyon JournalisMO, roughly translated as "Action: Your Journalism" (JournalisMO is a portmanteau of journalismo and mo, Filipino words meaning journalism and your, respectively), is the flagship late night news program that was broadcast by TV5. Originally anchored by Martin Andanar, Cherie Mercado, and Jove Francisco, it premiered on October 25, 2010, replacing TEN: The Evening News. Simulcast on AksyonTV and on the radio through 92.3 News FM in Mega Manila, the program is broadcast Monday to Friday from 10:45 p.m. to 11:15 p.m. (PST). The newscast is based on News5's Facebook fan page JournalisMO. In JournalisMO, citizens can express their opinions on the different issues of the country. Paolo Bediones, Mercado, and Francisco served as the final anchors. The show concluded on February 17, 2012, and was replaced by Pilipinas News .

About the show

The news magazine program premiered on October 25, 2010, at 11:00pm. Co-anchoring it were Cherie Mercado, Martin Andanar, and Jove Francisco, all transferees from Aksyon Weekend . Andanar eventually left the show on February 14, 2011, to anchor his own TV version of Andar ng mga Balita on AksyonTV. Since no replacements was yet to be named for him, Atty. Mike Templo became his sit-in anchor, finishing the departed anchor's four remaining episodes. Paolo Bediones, who recently left Aksyon , was named as Andanar's permanent replacement on February 21, 2011.

SideTracked, a segment where Francisco presents World Wide Web news alongside reactions of viewers posted online, was revived in this newscast after being with Sentro and TEN: The Evening News.

Aksyon (transl. Action) was a Philippine television news broadcasting show aired on TV5. Originally anchored by Paolo Bediones, Cheryl Cosim and Erwin Tulfo, it premiered on April 5, 2010, on the network's evening line up replacing TEN: The Evening News. The show concluded on March 13, 2020. Luchi Cruz-Valdes and Ed Lingao served as the final anchors. It was replaced by Frontline Pilipinas in its timeslot.

Sapul sa Singko, formerly Sapul was TV5’s daily morning show. The two-hour program premiered on April 5, 2010, as Sapul and due to its widespread success and viewership, it was expanded to a three-hour program on October 25, 2010, and rebranded as Sapul sa Singko. Cheryl Kathleen Cosim-Alvarez is a Filipino journalist, news anchor and TV host. She began her career as a journalist at ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs, hosting the programs Magandang Umaga, Pilipinas, Salamat Dok, the hourly news updates, and Gising Pilipinas on DZMM. After 14 years at ABS-CBN, she joined News5, the news department of TV5 as an on-air talent in summer 2010. Cosim became the co-anchor in Aksyon with Erwin Tulfo. In 2014, she became the news anchor on the late-night newscast Aksyon Tonite.

Aksyon TV was a Philippine free-to-air television network. It was a joint venture of Nation Broadcasting Corporation and TV5 Network, Inc., both under PLDT media arm MediaQuest Holdings. Its programs were primarily produced by TV5's divisions News5 and ESPN5. AksyonTV formerly broadcasts terrestrially through DWNB-TV in Metro Manila, as well as on UHF channel 29 in Cebu, Davao and other relay stations, and on a digital subchannel via channel 5.2 in Metro Manila.
