Early life

AkuBai was born in Wum in the Northwest Region, Cameroon. [3]

Career

AkuBai starts her musical career in 2019. [2] [4] She produces her musical works under the Niki Heat Entertainment label. [5] AkuBai has been practicing praise since 2004. [6] Her songs are in French, English and several local languages such as pidgin, Ewondo, Bassa, Mankon, weh and Bamileke languages. [7]

She is the founder of Impact Makers for Humanity. [1] [5]

The Anglophone Crisis, also known as the Ambazonia War, is an ongoing armed conflict in the English-speaking Northwest and Southwest regions of Cameroon, between the Cameroonian government and separatist rebel groups, part of the long-standing Anglophone problem. Following the suppression of 2016–17 protests by Cameroonian authorities, separatists in the Anglophone regions launched a guerrilla campaign and later proclaimed independence. Within two months, the government of Cameroon declared war on the separatists and sent its army into the Anglophone regions.

On November 16, 2021, she released her debut Album Love Aganda. Her hit song Abele is the result of her collaboration with Koffi Olomide which will allow the young singer to reach a wider audience. This track is now ranked among the top ten collaborations of the Congolese artist.

Laurentine Mbede, formerly known as Laurentine Koa Mfegue, is a Cameroonian political figure. She has served as a member of the National Assembly of Cameroon since 2012, and she holds a position on the Foreign Affairs Committee.
