Al-Hamd Islamic University is a private university located in the downtown area of Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan. [2] [3] The Al-Hamd Islamic University is recognized by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan [4] [1] and it is conceived by Alhamd Educational System (AES). [5] The Alhamd Educational System which was established in 1995 is also operating some other institution like: Balochistan Institute of Technology, BIT Girls College, Dar-e-Arqam School of Islam and Modern Sciences, Dar-e-Arqam Girls College, and Quran Research Academy. [5] The university was established in 2005 under the act of The Al-Hamd Islamic University, Quetta. Act 2005 by Balochistan Assembly. [6] [7] [8]

It was the headquarters of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community from September 20, 1948 when the community relocated from Qadian, India to the newly created state of Pakistan, where the Community leased the area of present-day Rabwah from the government to establish its home. This continued until 1984 and the establishment of Ordinance XX. In 1984, the headquarters were moved to the United Kingdom with Mirza Tahir Ahmed, first to London and then in 2019 to the Islamabad compound in Tilford, Surrey.

Kuchlak, also Kuchlagh, sometimes mistakenly referred to as Kachlak, is a town near Quetta, in the province of Balochistan, Pakistan. It is governed by a union council in Chiltan Town, Quetta. Kuchlak is home to Halaqa Number 61, one of the largest halaqas in Quetta. Kuchlak is well known for summer fruits such as apples and peaches; however, soil aridity is a problem. Vegetables grown in the valley include tomatoes, potatoes, onions and turnips.

Waja Jan Mohammad Dashti is a Baloch poet, bureaucrat and author, from Balochistan. Often known as just Jan Dashti, he is a senior bureaucrat serving as Balochistan's Provincial Secretary Mines and Minerals.

He remained in student politics and was one of the founding member of Pashtoonkhwa Students Organization. He was arrested several times during General Musharraf regime on his pro democratic campaign in educational institutions of Balochistan. He is well learned speaker in Balochistan Assembly. His staunch rivals accepts his honesty and dedication for politics.
