The Alabama A&M Lady Bulldogs basketball team is the basketball team that represents Alabama A&M University in Normal, Alabama. The school's team currently competes in the Southwestern Athletic Conference. [2]

History

The Bulldogs played in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference from 1947 to 1998 before joining the SWAC. They have made two NCAA Tournament appearances, both being in Division II, which they lost in the First Round both times. [3] [4] [5]

Walsh Gymnasium is a multi-purpose arena in South Orange, New Jersey on the campus of Seton Hall University. The arena opened in 1941 and can seat 1,316 people. It was home to the Seton Hall Pirates men's basketball team before they moved to the Meadowlands in 1985 and then Prudential Center in 2007. Currently, the arena hosts the women's basketball and volleyball teams, but continues to host men's basketball for preseason exhibitions, postseason invitational games such as early rounds of the NIT, and occasionally a regular season non-conference game if there is a conflict with Prudential Center's event schedule. The building is part of the Richie Regan Recreation & Athletic Center, and, like the school's main library, is named for Rev. Thomas J. The Bryant Bulldogs are the athletic teams representing Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island. As of July 1, 2022, the Bulldogs compete in most National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I sports as members of the America East Conference (AmEast). The move to the AmEast followed a 14-year tenure in the Northeast Conference (NEC), which it joined in 2008 when it began a transition from NCAA Division II to Division I. Bryant's largest rivalry during its Division II years was Bentley College, both founders of the Northeast-10 Conference (NE-10) and both have prominent business programs. The Alabama A&M Bulldogs basketball team is the men's basketball team that represents Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University in Normal, Alabama. The school's team currently competes in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) and are led by head coach Otis Hughley Jr. Prior to the Bulldogs' move to NCAA Division I in 1998, the team was a member of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and a consistent presence in the NCAA Division II Tournament. The Bulldogs were coached by L. Vann Pettaway from 1986 to 2010. During his tenure, Pettaway amassed a 440–264 record with the a school-best 28–3 in 1992–93 and 1995–96. From 1992 to 1997, the Bulldogs went 136–20.
