Alain Van Den Bossche (born 17 November 1965) is a former Belgian racing cyclist. [1] He won the Belgian national road race title in 1993. [2]

The election of van den Bossche as SIEL president is considered by some a sign of both defiance to economic nationalism and support for the rules-based multilateral system.
