Alan Jacob Alborn (born December 13, 1980) is an American former ski jumper. At the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, he finished 11th in the team large hill and 11th in the individual normal hill events.
Alborn's best finish at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships was 23rd in the individual normal hill event at Lahti in 2001. He finished 32nd in the individual event at the 2002 Ski-flying World Championships in Harrachov.
Alborn's best individual World Cup finish was fourth in a large hill event in Switzerland in 2001. His best individual career finish was second twice in lesser events (2001, 2004).
He held the North American distance record with 221.5 meters (achieved in Planica in 2002) till it was broken by Kevin Bickner in 2017. [1]
Jakub Janda is a Czech former ski jumper and current politician. In ski jumping he competed from 1996 to 2017, winning the 2005/06 World Cup and 2005/06 Four Hills Tournament, as well as silver and bronze medals at the 2005 World Championships. Janda is one of the most successful ski jumpers from the Czech Republic, and remains their only World Cup champion to date.

He is one of the sport's most successful contemporary athletes, having won the 2016 Ski Jumping World Cup overall title and two Olympic medals, silver and bronze at the 2014 Winter Olympics. His other career accomplishments include finishing runner-up in the 2014 and 2015 World Cup seasons, winning the 2016 Four Hills Tournament and 2016 Ski Flying World Championships, three consecutive Ski Flying World Cup overall titles, silver and bronze medals at the 2013 Ski Jumping World Championships, bronze at the 2014 Ski Flying World Championships, and bronze and silver with the Slovenian national team at the 2011 Ski Jumping and 2018 Ski Flying World Championships, respectively.
Kevin Bickner is an American ski jumper. He is the current national record holder, with 244.5 metres (802 ft) set in Vikersund on 19 March 2017.
