Afioga Aliki Faipule Alapati Tavite [1] is a Tokelauan politician who was the Ulu-o-Tokelau from March 2024 to March 2025. The Ulu serves as the dependent territory's head of government. [2] [3]
The office of Ulu rotates on an annual basis between the Faipule ,atoll leaders,of each of the country's three atolls. [4] As Ulu he chaired the Council for the Ongoing Government of Tokelau. [5]
In March 2025,he was succeeded as Ulu by Esera FofōTuisano. [2]
In the 2017 and 2020 general election,Tavite was elected as taupulega ,a member of the council of elders,of Nukunonu. [6] [7]
In the 2023 Tokelauan general election,Tavite was elected as the Faipule of Nukunonu. [8]
He is married to Silivia Tavite,a doctor who has served as Tokelau's Director of Health. [9] [10] [11]
