Alastair McNeill also spelt Alistair (born c.1938) is a former Scottish wrestler who competed at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games (now Commonwealth Games). [1]

Biography

McNeill was a brewery worker in Dunfermline [2] and was a member of the Carnegie Amateur Wrestling Club. [3]

He was selected for the 1962 Scottish team [4] for the 1962 British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Perth, Australia, in the middleweight class, [5] and finished in equal fourth place behind the gold medal winner Faiz Muhammad of Pakistan. [6] [7]

McNeill was a Scottish champion and British title runner-up. [8]
