Mavlet Alavdinovich Batirov is a Russian freestyle wrestler, world and 2-time Olympic champion, who competed in the men's freestyle 55 kg category at the 2004 Summer Olympics and won the gold medal.
Armen Nazaryan is an Armenian Greco-Roman wrestler who later represented Bulgaria. Nazaryan is a two-time Olympic Champion, a three-time World Champion, and a six-time European Champion. After Armenia regained independence in 1991, Nazaryan became the first Olympic gold medalist for the country. He was recognized by the FILA as the best wrestler of the year in 1998 and 2003. In 2007, Nazaryan was inducted as a member of the FILA Hall of Fame.

Ligeti stands 1.92 metres tall and weighs 115 kilograms (254 lb). He is also currently a member of TuS Adelhausen in Rheinfelden, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, and is coached by Istvan Gulyas from the national wrestling team.

He achieved top five finishes in the 60-kg division at the European Championships, and also represented his nation Germany at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Before his competitive sporting career ended in 2012, Kohl trained full-time as a member of the wrestling club for KSV Köllerbach and ASV Mainz 88, under his personal coach Frank Hartmann. Born and raised in the former Soviet Union, Kohl also held a dual citizenship to compete for Germany in numerous wrestling tournaments, including the Olympic Games.
Nurlan Altynbekovich Koizhaiganov is a retired amateur Kazakh Greco-Roman wrestler, who competed in the men's lightweight category. He scored top five finishes in the 60-kg division in two consecutive editions of the Asian Games, and later represented his nation Kazakhstan at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Before being retired from wrestling in 2005, Koizhaiganov also trained throughout his sporting career at Professional Sport Club Daulet in Semipalatinsk, under his personal coach Kanat Nurlasiev.

He represented Russia in two editions of the Olympic Games, and later capped off his wrestling career with a bronze medal in the 60-kg division at the 2005 European Championships in Varna, Bulgaria. Shevtsov also trained as a member of the wrestling team at the Moscow Academy of Combat Sports in Moscow, under his personal coach Yevgeny Peremishin.
Chen Xingqiang is a Chinese former amateur freestyle wrestler, who competed in the men's super heavyweight category. He won three medals in his signature weight division at the Asian Championships and eventually wrestled for the Chinese squad at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. Throughout his sporting career, Chen trained at a local wrestling club in Sichuan Province under his personal coach Bu Long.
