Alessandro Georgiou is a British Conservative Party politician who has been a London-wide Assembly Member (AM) of the London Assembly since the May 2024 election. [1]

Political career

Georgiou is Leader of the Opposition and the Conservative Group on Enfield Council, where he has represented Cockfosters since 2014. [2]

In 2015, Labour Enfield Council member Andrew Stafford, then head of finance, told Georgiou to "sit down, you cunt". This prompted all 24 Conservative councillors to walk out of the meeting. [3]
