Alessia McCaig (born 24 April 2003) is an Australian professional racing cyclist who specializes in track cycling.
McCaig began cycling at the age of nine, joining the Bendigo and District Cycling Club on a second-hand bike from her older brother. [1]
In December 2020, she dominated the Australian Junior Track Championships (17/18 years) with three titles: the 500 metres, the keirin and the sprint. [2] In 2022, McCaig represented her country at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, where she placed fourth in the team sprint and eighth in the 500 metres. [1] In 2023, she was Australian champion in the 500 metres and keirin, as well as the Oceania Team Sprint Championships.
In February 2024, McCaig won four medals, including the team sprint title, at the Oceania Championships. The following month, she completed the 500 metres, keirin and sprint treble at the national championships. [3] In October of the same year, she won a bronze medal in the team sprint at the Track World Championships. [4] [5]
Anna Maree Devenish Meares is an Australian retired track cyclist. She currently resides in Adelaide in South Australia where the Australian Institute of Sport's Track Cycling program has its headquarters at the Adelaide Super-Drome.

Emily Rosemond is an Australian short track speed skater, who represented Australia at the 2006 Winter Olympics before changing sports and representing Australia in track cycling. Rosemond was given the Keys to the City of Brisbane in 2006 after her Olympic debut at the age of 19 years.Emily Rosemond made her Olympic debut as a short track speed skater at the 2006 Torino Winter Olympics. She contested the 1000m and 1500m, finishing 12th and 25th respectively. Rosemond's short track career was interrupted by an ACL rupture, six months before her Olympic Games debut. Rosemond retired from short track speed skating in 2008 after the World Championships, and took up the sport of track cycling.
