Aleksandr Dyadchuk (born 5 February 1983 in Alma-Ata) is a Kazakhstani sprint canoeist who competed in the late 2000s and 2010s. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, he was eliminated in the semifinals of the C-2 500 m event. At the 2012 Summer Olympics he was eliminated in the semi-finals of both the C-1 200 m and the C-1 1000 m events. [1] [2]

The 2009 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships were held 12–16 August 2009 in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada, on Lake Banook. The competition was organized by the International Canoe Federation (ICF). The Canadian city was selected to host the championships in October 2003 after having done so previously in 1997. Final preparations were made after the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, with competition format changed for the first time since the 2001 championships. Four exhibition events for both paddleability and women's canoe were added. Sponsorship was local within the province of Nova Scotia and the Halifax Regional Municipality. Media coverage was provided from Canada, Europe and the United States on the Internet, television and mobile phone. 669 canoeists from 68 nations participated at the championships themselves.
The 2003 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships were held September 10–14, 2003 in Gainesville, Georgia, United States at Lake Lanier. Located north of Atlanta, this was also where the canoe sprint and rowing events for the 1996 Summer Olympics took place.
Marcin Grzybowski is a Polish sprint and marathon canoeist who has competed since the early 2000s. He won three medals in the C-4 500 m event at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with two silvers, and a bronze (2002).
Jonas Ems is a German sprint canoer who has competed since the mid-2000s. He has won four medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with a gold, two silvers and a bronze.
Vadim Menkov is an Uzbek male sprint canoeist who has competed since the late 2000s. He has won six medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with two golds, a silver and two bronze. Most recently, Menkov won the gold medal in the sprint C1-1000m event in canoeing at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China.
Arnaud Hybois is a French sprint canoeist who has competed since the late 2000s. He has won six medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with three golds, a silver and two bronze.
Canoeing at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London were contested in two main disciplines: canoe slalom, from 29 July to 2 August, and canoe sprint, from 6 to 11 August. The slalom competition was held at the Lee Valley White Water Centre and the sprint events were staged at Eton College Rowing Centre, at Dorney Lake, known as Eton Dorney.
Fortunato Luis Pacavira is an Angolan sprint canoer who competed in the late 2000s. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, he was eliminated in the heats of the C-1 500 m event and the semifinals of the C-1 1000 m event. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he was eliminated in the semi-final of the C-1 1000 m event, and in the semi-final of the C-2 1000 m event, where he competed with Nelson Henriques.
Jorge Antonio García Rodríguez is a Cuban sprint canoer who competed in the late 2000s. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, he was eliminated in the semifinals of both the K-1 500 m and the K-1 1000 m events. At the 2012 Summer Olympics he competed in the K-1 1000 m, winning the B-final. At the 2016 Olympics, he competed with Reinier Torres in the men's K-2 1000 m.
