Alexandru Calamar (born 20 June 1941) is a Romanian ice hockey player. He competed in the men's tournaments at the 1964 Winter Olympics and the 1968 Winter Olympics. [1]

Alexandru "Dudu" Frim was a Romanian bobsledder who competed in the 1930s. He won the gold medal in the two-man event at the 1934 FIBT World Championships. He also finished 15th in the two-man event at the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Frim was also an aviator, earning his pilot license in 1931. Frim also won the Grand Prix of Sports Aviation and Cup of Brasov Aero-Club in 1939. Frim later participated in World War II as a pilot for Romania.

Alexandru Budişteanu was a Romanian bobsledder who competed in the mid-1930s. At the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, finishing 16th in the two-man event and did not finish in the four-man event.

Martin Tešovič is a weightlifter from Slovakia who competed from the mid-1990s to the mid-2000s. He competed three times for his native country at the Summer Olympics: 1996 and 2004 and 2012 where he placed 11th in the 105 kg category with a total of 363 kg. At the 2008 Summer Olympics he was supposed to compete, but he did not enter the event.

Alexandru Roșu is a Romanian weightlifter. Rosu represented Romania at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where he competed for the men's lightweight class (69 kg). Unfortunately, Rosu did not finish the event, as he successfully lifted 136 kg (300 lb) in the single-motion snatch, but failed to hoist 165 kg (364 lb) in the two-part, shoulder-to-overhead clean and jerk.
