Edward Alfred C. Douglas, sometimes known as Eddie Douglas, was an English professional footballer who made over 100 appearances as an outside left in the Football League for Brentford.
Douglas began his career with Northern League club Crook Town. [2] Following abortive spells at Football League clubs Newcastle United and Crystal Palace, he resumed his career with stints at North Eastern League clubs West Stanley and Washington Colliery. [2] Douglas was handed another chance at league football with Third Division South club Brentford in 1925 and went on to become a regular pick as an outside left, making 109 appearances and scoring 21 goals in a four-season spell. [3] Douglas' performances won him the attention of Second Division club Reading and he moved to Elm Park in an exchange deal for Billy Lane in 1929. [2] He made only a handful of appearances for the Royals and ended his career with spells at Bristol Rovers and Guildford City. [2] [4]

Brentford
Terence Alan Hurlock is an English former professional footballer who played as a central midfielder. Over the course of a 15-year career in the Football League, he had notable spells with Brentford and Millwall. He won England B international caps while with Millwall and is a member of the club's Hall of Fame. A physical player, Hurlock received seven red cards during his career and in 2007 was rated by The Times as the 23rd hardest player in football.
Francis Marshall was a Scottish professional footballer who played in the Football League for Brentford and Gillingham as an inside forward. He made over 100 appearances for the latter club.
William George Berry, known in England as Bill Berry and in Francophone nations as George Berry or Georges Berry, was an English professional footballer who made over 130 appearances as an outside left in the Football League for Brentford. He also played league football for Gillingham, Charlton Athletic, Crystal Palace and Bournemouth & Boscombe Athletic and after his retirement he had a 30-year management career with clubs in France, Belgium, Tunisia and Luxembourg.
Francis Joseph was an English professional footballer who played as a forward for a large number of clubs in the Football League, including Wimbledon, Brentford, Reading, Sheffield United, Crewe Alexandra, Fulham, Barnet and Gillingham, between 1980 and 1992. He also spent time playing outside the United Kingdom, including spells with Honka, JYP 77 and HJK Helsinki in Finland, Racing Ghent in Belgium and Tampa Bay Rowdies in the United States. He eventually dropped into non-League football, playing for numerous clubs before becoming a coach at non-League level in 1995.
John Brooks was an English professional footballer who played for Reading, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Brentford, Crystal Palace in the Football League.
