The 1992 All-Ireland Senior Club Camogie Championship for the leading clubs in the women's team field sport of camogie was won by Glen Rovers, who defeated Rathnure from Wexford in the final, played at Glen Rovers. [1] [2]
The championship was organised on the traditional provincial system used in Gaelic Games since the 1880s, with Portglenone and Pearses winning the championships of the other two provinces. Deep into added time, Bernie Higgins scored an equalizer, Rathnure's first score of the second half. Geraldine Codd and Norma Carty added points. Pearses led by a point at the end of normal time. Portglenone scored two early goals against Glen Rover in their semi-final; before Glen began their comeback with a goal from 45 metres (148 ft) by Sandie Fitzgibbon.
Glen Rovers had an easy victory in atrocious conditions, fielding five of the players who had helped Cork to win the All-Ireland Senior Championship two months earlier. Galway player, Ann Coleman, sister of All-Ireland hurler, Michael Coleman was the Rovers star alongside Sandie Fitzgibbon, Therese O'Callaghan, Mary Ring and Linda Mellerick Goalkeeper Mary Fleming was the Rathnure star. Sandie Fitzgibbon is a former camogie player selected on the camogie team of the century in 2004, and winner of six All Ireland medals in 1982, 1983, 1992, 1993, 1995 and 1997.
The 1985 All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship was the high point of the 1985 season. The championship was won by Killkenny, who defeated Dublin by a five-point margin in the final for a first success in four years. The match drew an attendance of 3,500.

The 1994 All-Ireland Senior Club Camogie Championship for the leading clubs in the women's team field sport of camogie was won by Lisdowney, who defeated Glen Rovers in the final, played at Ballyragget, after one of the most spectacular comebacks in the history of Gaelic Games,.
The 1978 All-Ireland Senior Club Camogie Championship for the leading clubs in the women's team field sport of camogie was won by Ballyagran of Limerick, who defeated Buffers Alley from Wexford in the final, played at Monamolin. That was the last club final to be played with the second crossbar, the "points bar," as per the rules of the game as amended by Congress in 1929.

The attendance at the final included Séamus Ó Braonáin, who had refereed the very first camogie matches in 1904 and his wife, Brigid Dillon who played in the practice match in the Phoenix Park and the first camogie match in Navan. An anonymous donor provided an unusual silver cup, known as the ‘Jubilee Cup’, which Celtic Camogie Club were allowed to keep.
