History

The All India Gaming Federation was established in 2016 in response to the growing online gaming industry in India and the need for an industry-wide self-regulatory body. [1]

In 2017, AIGF launched its Charter of Ethics for self-regulation of the online gaming industry, which was one of the first such initiatives in the Indian gaming sector. [2]
