Allain Roland Roy (born February 6, 1970) is a Canadian former ice hockey goaltender.
Roy won a silver medal at the 1994 Winter Olympics. He went on to play professional roller hockey with the St. Louis Vipers in the RHI from 1994 to 1997. [1]

The Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) is a college athletic conference in the Midwestern United States that participates in the NCAA's Division I as a hockey-only conference. The current CCHA began play in the 2021–22 season; a previous incarnation, which the current CCHA recognizes as part of its history, existed from 1971 to 2013. Four of its nine members are located in the state of Michigan, with three in Minnesota and one each in Ohio and South Dakota. It has also had teams located in Alaska, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri and Nebraska over the course of its existence.

Richard A. Lamby is an American former professional ice hockey defenseman. He played 22 games in the National Hockey League with the St. Louis Blues from 1978 to 1980. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1978 to 1982, was mainly spent in the minor leagues. In college, he played for Salem State University and Boston University's men's hockey teams from 1974 to 1978s. Internationally, Lamby played for the American national team at the 1976 Winter Olympics, and at the 1978 World Championships.
Randall Jude Skarda is an American former professional ice hockey defenseman. He was drafted in the eighth round, 157th overall, by the St. Louis Blues in the 1986 NHL Entry Draft. He played twenty-six games in the National Hockey League with the Blues: twenty-five in the 1989–90 season and one more in the 1991–92 season. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1989 to 1994, was spent in the minor leagues.

The 1975 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey tournament was the culmination of the 1974–75 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey season, the 28th such tournament in NCAA history. It was held between March 13 and 15, 1975, and concluded with Michigan Tech defeating Minnesota 6–1. All games were played at the St. Louis Arena in St. Louis, Missouri.
The 1989 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Tournament was the culmination of the 1988–89 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey season, the 42nd such tournament in NCAA history. It was held between March 17 and April 1, 1989, and concluded with Harvard defeating Minnesota 4-3 in overtime. All First Round and Quarterfinals matchups were held at home team venues with the 'Frozen Four' games being played at the St. Paul Civic Center in St. Paul, Minnesota. Following this tournament, the schedule was changed for future tournaments so that both semifinals would be played on the same day.

The Vermont Catamounts men's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college ice hockey program that represents the University of Vermont. The Catamounts are a member of Hockey East, joining in 2005 after competing in ECAC Hockey from 1974 to 2005. They play home games at Gutterson Fieldhouse in Burlington, Vermont. Keith Allain is an American ice hockey coach. He is currently the head coach of the Yale Bulldogs men's ice hockey team. He took over the program following Tim Taylor in 2006. In 2013, he led Yale to its first ever NCAA men's ice hockey National Championship.

In its 18th year under head coach Bill Cleary the team compiled a 31–3–0 record and reached the NCAA tournament for the fourteenth time. The Crimson defeated Minnesota 4–3 in overtime to win the championship game at the St. Paul Civic Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
