Alnaryd is a village in Karlskrona Municipality, Blekinge County, southeastern Sweden. According to the 2010 census it had a population of 53 people.
On 25 April 1895, a railway was opened between Alnaryd and Nättraby. This railway was extended north to Eringsboda on 1 July 1905, and another railway was opened from Eringsboda to Älmeboda on 21 December 1910 by a different company. Because the latter was in practice an extension of the one from Nättraby to Eringsboda, it merged along with its owner into the Nättraby–Eringsboda railway the following year. [1]
The Öresund or Øresund Bridge is a combined railway and motorway bridge across the Øresund strait between Denmark and Sweden. It is the longest combined road and rail bridge in Europe, running nearly 8 kilometres from the Swedish coast to the artificial island Peberholm in the middle of the strait. The crossing is completed by the 4-kilometre (2.5 mi) Drogden Tunnel from Peberholm to the Danish island of Amager.

Eringsboda is a locality situated in Ronneby Municipality, Blekinge County, Sweden with 299 inhabitants in 2010. On 21 December 1910, a railway was opened between Eringsboda and Älmeboda. This railway was in practice an extension of the preexisting one from Nättraby to Eringsboda, and as such the former's owner merged into that of the Nättraby–Eringsboda railway the following year.
Nättrabyån is a river in Sweden. It flows through the village of Nättraby and drains into the Baltic Sea in the area of the Blekinge archipelago.

Vrängö is a village in Karlskrona Municipality, Blekinge County, southeastern Sweden. According to the 2005 census it had a population of 175 people. It is situated close to the mouth of the Nättrabyån river on its east bank.

Sweden once had some fairly extensive narrow-gauge networks, but most narrow-gauge railways are now closed. Some were converted to 1,435 mmstandard gauge and some remain as heritage railways. The most common narrow gauge, 891 mm, exists only in Sweden. A smaller 3 ft 6 in gauge network existed, and 600 mm gauge was used mostly by smaller, industrial railways. Still other but lesser used gauges in the country were 693 mm, 802 mm, 1,099 mm, 1,188 mm and 1,217 mm, all converted or removed.
