Rider University is a private university in Lawrence Township, New Jersey. It consists of four academic units: the Norm Brodsky College of Business, the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the College of Education and Human Services, and Westminster College of the Arts.
Alumni Hall is the on-campus basketball gymnasium at Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island, United States. It was built in 1955 and was the home court for the school's men's basketball program until 1972. The gymnasium has hosted the Providence College women's basketball team since its inception in 1974.
Alumni Gymnasium, now known as Alumni Gym Fitness Center, is a building on the University of Kentucky (UK) campus in Lexington, Kentucky. It is located on the corner of South Limestone Street and Avenue of Champions next to the University of Kentucky Student Center. When it opened in 1924, replacing Alumni Hall, it was a 2,800 seat multi-purpose arena, serving as home to the UK Wildcats basketball team. It was replaced when the Memorial Coliseum opened in 1950. The building later became a student recreation facility, and was frequently used for recreational and intramural basketball. During this period, it was also home to the University of Kentucky Men's Club Basketball team, University of Kentucky Club Dodgeball team, and the UK Men's Club Volleyball team. The interior of the facility was gutted in 2017 as part of a project to renovate the university's student center, and the building reopened in 2018 as a student fitness center.
The Rider Broncs are the athletic teams of Rider University, a private nonsectarian university in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, United States. The school is a Division I member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and its athletes compete in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). For wrestling only, Rider is an affiliate member of the Mid-American Conference (MAC).

The Broncs, led by first year head coach Kevin Baggett, played their home games at Alumni Gymnasium and were members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. They finished the season 19–15, 12–6 in MAAC play to finish in a tie for second place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the MAAC tournament to Fairfield. They were invited to the 2013 CIT where they defeated Hartford in the first round before losing in the second round to East Carolina.

The team's top performers were seniors Teddy Okereafor and Matt Lopez. Walk-on senior Emerson Bursis served as team captain. The Broncs finished the season 21–12, 15–5 in MAAC play to finish in second place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the MAAC tournament to Saint Peter's. They were invited to the College Basketball Invitational where they lost in the first round to Loyola–Chicago.

They defeated Quinnipiac in the first round of the MAAC tournament to advance to the quarterfinals where they lost to Monmouth.

They finished the season 22–10, 15–3 in MAAC play to finish in a tie for the MAAC regular season championship with Canisius. After tie breakers, they were the No. 1 seed in the MAAC tournament where they were upset in the quarterfinals by Saint Peter's. As a regular season conference champion, and No. 1 seed in their conference tournament, who failed to win their conference tournament, they received an automatic bid to the National Invitation Tournament where they lost in the first round to Oregon.

They finished the 2018–19 season 16–15 overall, 11–7 in MAAC play to finish in a four-way tie for second place. As the 4th seed in the 2019 MAAC tournament, they were defeated by No. 5 seed Siena 81–87 in the quarterfinals.

They finished the season 20–11, 11–5 in ECC play to finish in second place. In the ECC tournament, they defeated No. 7 seed American, No. 3 seed Drexel, and top seed Bucknell to win the tournament and earn the first bid to the NCAA Tournament in program history. As one of two No. 12 seeds in the East region of the 1984 NCAA tournament, the Broncs were defeated by Richmond, 89–65, in the play-in round.

As the No. 16 seed in the Southeast region of the 1993 NCAA tournament, the Broncs were defeated by No. 1 seed and eventual Final Four participant Kentucky, 96–52, in the opening round.
