Amanda Brunker

Amanda Brunker (born 12 June 1974) is an Irish novelist, journalist and beauty pageant titleholder. She is columnist for the Irish Sunday World tabloid newspaper, [1] She also won Miss Ireland 1991.

Brunker grew up in a Church of Ireland Protestant family in Finglas. [2] After attending Mount Temple Comprehensive School she turned to modelling, entering and winning the Miss Ireland competition in 1991 when she was 17 years old. [3]

Career

She has continued modelling, acted in the film Head Rush, [4] had a cameo role on the former Irish soap Glenroe , been a nightclub hostess and presented her own late night TV show The Dinner Party. [5]

She also performed at Oxegen 2011. [6] The decision to give her a prominent slot at the music festival ahead of artists who had released music, as well as her performance on the day, was widely criticised in the music press. [7] [8] [9]

Brunker declined on multiple offers from record companies to concentrate on her FETAC 4 course [ citation needed ].

She was a judge on the third and final season of the All Ireland Talent Show, replacing Boyzone's Shane Lynch as the Dublin judge.

She published her first novel, entitled Champagne Kisses, [10] on 25 June 2008, followed in June 2009 by a sequel, Champagne Babes.

She participated in season 4 of Celebrity Bainisteoir , managing Aughrim GAA Club, Wicklow. [11]

The All Ireland Talent Show was a Raidió Teilifís Éireann television series which was billed as Ireland's biggest-ever talent contest. It was first announced in November 2008 and the first series commenced broadcasting on 4 January 2009, completing on 15 March 2009. Modelled on Got Talent, it is produced by Tyrone Productions. Airing on RTÉ One, it was hosted by Gráinne Seoige.

Katherine Lynch is an Irish television personality from County Leitrim. She has had several television series broadcast on RTÉ Two, with titles like Working Girls, Wonderwomen and Single Ladies. Andrea Roche is an Irish entrepreneur and beauty pageant titleholder. Andrea founded Ireland’s first influencer talent agency in 2013 and now manages most of Ireland best known influencers. Andrea Roche founded AR Modelling Agency in 2010. She took part in the RTÉ One reality sports television series Celebrity Bainisteoir in 2009 and featured on a weekly basis on the TV3 show Ireland AM. Andrea retired full-time from modelling in 2008, she has been credited with discovering models such as Roz Purcell, Pippa O’Connor Ormond and Miss World 2003 Rosanna Davison.

The second season of Celebrity Bainisteoir was broadcast in Ireland on RTÉ One from 22 March 2009 until 10 May 2009.

Rozanna "Roz" Purcell is an Irish model, charity worker and beauty pageant titleholder who won Miss Universe Ireland 2010 and represented Ireland at Miss Universe 2010.
