Amanda Dawn Clapham is a British actress, known for portraying the role of Holly Cunningham on the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks . [1]
Clapham was born in Aberdeen, Scotland and grew up in Warrington, England. She attended St Gregory's Catholic High School. [2] She graduated from the Manchester School of Theatre in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Acting. [3]
Clapham joined the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks in 2013 as Holly Cunningham. Her storylines included in the programme included: a relationship with Jason Roscoe, played by Alfie Browne-Sykes, an affair with his brother, Robbie Roscoe, played by Charlie Wernham, a drunk driving incident that killed Rachel Hardy, taking drugs, and a relationship with Nathan Nightingale. Clapham opted to leave the show in 2018 and Holly departed in September. She returned briefly in January 2019. In August 2020, she appeared in an episode of the BBC medical drama Casualty as Claudie Tullet. [4]

Robbie Roscoe is a fictional character from the British Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks, played by Charlie Wernham. He made his first screen appearance on 2 April 2013. Robbie is part of the Roscoe family and the first member to be introduced. On 19 March 2013, a Channel 4 press release revealed that Robbie "leads the way for a family of boys to descend on Hollyoaks, headed by Gillian Taylforth as mother, Sandy." Wernham's casting was confirmed on 27 March 2013. Wernham auditioned for the show the previous year, attending his second audition on 24 October 2012. Daniel Kilkelly from Digital Spy later revealed Robbie is a "troublesome new student" and he would befriend established character Callum Kane. The writer added that Robbie's headteacher Patrick Blake thinks he can control his behaviour. But Robbie soon begins to cause trouble.

Cleo McQueen is a fictional character from the British soap opera Hollyoaks, played by Nadine Mulkerrin. Cleo is a member of the show's established McQueen family and was introduced as the younger sister of Porsche and Celine McQueen, who arrived in late 2014. Actress Jennifer Metcalfe, who plays Mercedes McQueen, suggested that more McQueens should be introduced, as she knew the show was losing two members of the family. Mulkerrin had previously auditioned for the role of Phoebe Jackson, however this role was later given to Mandip Gill. Upon learning she had been cast as Cleo, she gave up her job as a waitress and relocated to Liverpool, where the show is filmed. She made her first appearance during the episode broadcast on 26 January 2015. Mulkerrin took maternity leave from the show in 2019, departing in the episode broadcast on 4 November 2019. She returned on 18 November 2020 before departing permanently on 24 May 2022 after Mulkerrin decided to leave the soap. The character made an unannounced return on 16 January 2024.

She rose to prominence playing the role of Jess Cranham in the BBC medical drama Casualty and Eva Falco in the soap opera Hollyoaks. Bennett has also appeared in numerous other British television dramas, soap operas and short films. Bennett has also participated in voice over work and continued to pursue her theatrical career when not signed to television or film roles.
Rachel Hardy is a fictional character from the British soap opera Hollyoaks, portrayed by Jennifer Brooke. She made her first appearance on 26 October 2015. Rachel was introduce alongside her fiancé Nathan Nightingale and his family as a new family unit that would run the local pub. Executive producer Bryan Kirkwood revealed that he introduced Rachel and the Nightingales to bring a sense of community to Hollyoaks. Brooke characterised Rachel as free-spirited and not caring about what others think of her, and that she gets itchy feet in the village as she wants to go travelling with Nathan. Rachel and Nathan were portrayed as being a perfect couple and childhood sweethearts. However, their relationship is tested several times throughout Rachel's stint on the soap, including when Nathan kisses Porsche McQueen and when Rachel hides Alfie Nightingale's cancer returning from Nathan. Rachel was then killed-off in a car explosion caused by Holly Cunningham and she last appeared on 29 March 2016. Rachel's departure had not been announced prior and Garfield later explained that the character was meant to be short-lived since her debut. Rachel's death impacts Nathan and was used to show other sides of his character. Rachel's death was seen as emotional and tragic by critics.
