Sampath Kumar, known by his stage name Vishnuvardhan, was an Indian actor who worked predominantly in Kannada cinema besides also having sporadically appeared in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam language films. Vishnuvardhan has a prolific career spanning over four decades, during which he has acted in more than 220 films. A popular cultural icon of Karnataka, and holds the status of a matinée idol amongst the Kannada diaspora. He is popularly called as Sahasa Simha, Dada and The Angry Young Man of Kannada Cinema. Vishnuvardhan's contributions to Kannada cinema have been praised by his contemporaries in the Indian film industry. Gurukiran or Gurukiran Shetty is an Indian music director of the Kannada film industry in India. He started his career as a music director of the Kannada movie A, directed and acted by Upendra. Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, also known mononymously as Bharathi, is an Indian actress known primarily for her work in Kannada cinema and television serials. She began her career in 1966, as a lead actress, with the Kannada movie Love in Bangalore. In a career spanning over 50 years, Bharathi has appeared in 150 films. Apart from 100 films in Kannada, she has also acted in a handful of Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. In the course of her career, she became known for portrayal of the roles mythological and historical characters, and also that of a student, a romantic and a rural belle. Her role in Sri Krishnadevaraya (1970) as Chennambike won her the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Actress. In 2017, she was honoured with the Padma Shri by the Government of India.

Vishnuvardhana is a 2011 Indian Kannada language comedy thriller film starring Sudeepa, Bhavana, Priyamani and Sonu Sood directed by P. Kumar, in his debut, and produced by Dwarakish. The film's music was composed by V. Harikrishna. The film was released on 8 December 2011. The film was officially remade in Bengali in 2014 as Bachchan. The movie was reported to have been inspired by the 2009 Korean movie Handphone. 5 years later, it was dubbed in Hindi as Mr. Mobile 2.

Sindhu, known by her stage name Sindhu Loknath, is an Indian actress and model who predominantly appears in Kannada cinema. She made her debut in films, with a cameo role in Parichaya (2009). She is recognized for her performances in Lifeu Ishtene (2011), Drama (2012), Case No. 18/9 (2013) and Love in Mandya (2014).

The film, along with Mooruvare Vajragalu (1973), was Rajkumar's last movie in black-and-white. However, this movie had a few sequences shot in colour. The film was a remake of Rajinikanth's 1995 Tamil film Baashha which itself was inspired from the 1991 Hindi movie Hum. This movie was directed by Naganna and features soundtrack from Deva who also composed the music for the Tamil version.

Nagarahole is a 1977 Indian Kannada-language children's film written by H. V. Subba Rao, with screenplay and direction by S. V. Rajendra Singh Babu, starring Vishnuvardhan, Bharathi and Ambareesh. The film was dubbed in Malayalam as Kaadu Njangalude Veedu and in Hindi as Bahadur Bachhe. Director Babu had revealed that the base plotline was inspired by the books of Enid Blyton. He had also revealed that the movie was dubbed in 11 languages including Russian, Japanese & French.

Bhojaraj Vamanjoor is an Indian actor, who predominantly works in Tulu theatre and Tulu film industry. Vamanjoor is also a Yakshagana Artist. He is one of the active members of the Tulu drama troupe "Cha Parka Kalavidher Kudla" along with Devadas Kapikad, Naveen D. Padil and Aravind Bolar. He can be seen in most Tulu plays directed by Devadas Kapikad.

<i>Pyaar Prema Kaadhal</i> 2018 film directed by Elan

Pyaar Prema Kaadhal is a 2018 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by Elan, and produced by Yuvan Shankar Raja, under the banner YSR Films, who also composed music for the film. Co-produced by S. N. Rajarajan under the banner K Productions. The film stars Harish Kalyan and debutant Raiza Wilson. The film marked the first project of both the lead actors, after rising to fame from the television series Bigg Boss Tamil. Anand Babu, Pandian, Rekha, Ramadoss and Subbu Panchu appear in supporting roles. The film's cinematography was handled by Raja Bhattacharjee, with editing done by S. Manikumaran. Rajasimha is a 2018 Indian Kannada-language action film directed by debutante Ravi Ram and produced by C. D. Basappa. The film features Aniruddha, Nikita Thukral and Sanjjanaa in the lead roles along with Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, Sharath Lohitashwa and Arun Sagar in key supporting roles. While Late Actor Ambareesh plays a cameo role, the popular late actor Vishnuvardhan appear on the screen through a computer generated visual effect. The film is reported to be a sequel of Vishnuvardhan's hit Simhadriya Simha (2002). The film's soundtrack is composed by Jassie Gift and the background score is by Sadhu Kokila.

Pruthvi Ambaar is an Indian actor who works in Kannada and Tulu films. He started his career as a radio jockey. His performance in the Kannada film Dia (2020) gained him recognition.

<i>Kantara</i> (soundtrack) 2022 soundtrack album by B. Ajaneesh Loknath

Kantara is the soundtrack album to the 2022 film of the same name, written and directed by Rishab Shetty, and stars himself in the lead role. Produced by Hombale Films, the film features music composed by B. Ajaneesh Loknath, who described it as a "culture-based folklore film in musical context" and wanted the music to be "rooted in the traditions of the 1990s". To attempt, what the crew had envisioned, both the film score and original songs were composed using folk instruments and folk musicians were roped in for the songs.
