The Ohio State Buckeyes are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent The Ohio State University, located in Columbus, Ohio. The athletic programs are named after the colloquial term for people from the state of Ohio and after the state tree, the Ohio buckeye. The Buckeyes participate in the National Collegiate Athletic Association's (NCAA) Division I in all sports and the Big Ten Conference in most sports. The Ohio State women's ice hockey team competes in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA). The school colors are scarlet and gray. The university's mascot is Brutus Buckeye. "THE" is the official trademark of the Ohio State University merchandise. Led by its gridiron program, the Buckeyes have the largest overall sports endowment of any campus in North America.
The West Clermont Local School District (WCLSD) is a public school district in Clermont County, Ohio, United States. It covers a 54-square-mile (140 km2) area on the east side of the Cincinnati metropolitan area, centered on the east side of the I-275 loop. The district serves much of Union Township, as well as portions of Batavia, Monroe, Ohio and Pierce Townships.
E.L. Bowsher High School was constructed in the early 1960s at the intersection of Glanzman and Detroit in Toledo, Ohio. Its replacement is at the corner of Arlington and Detroit, north of the original site. It is part of the Toledo Public Schools.

For the 2008–2009 school year, it shifted from a three-year school to a four-year high school, serving approximately 2,700 students. Mentor High School educates students from Mentor, Mentor-on-the-Lake, and parts of Kirtland Hills and Concord Township in Lake County, Ohio. The Eastern Cincinnati Conference (ECC) is an Ohio high school athletic conference in the eastern Cincinnati area, part of the Southwestern Ohio Region. The ECC consists of ten high schools: Anderson, Kings, Loveland, Milford, Turpin, Walnut Hills, West Clermont, Lebanon, Little Miami, and Winton Woods. Each of these schools compete in a variety of OHSA Division 1 and Division 2 Fall, Winter, and Spring sports. Lebanon, Little Miami, and Winton Woods joined in the 2020–2021 school year. Withrow was a member school beginning with the 2014–2015 school year, but withdrew effective 2020–2021 school year to rejoin the Cincinnati Metropolitan Athletic Conference.
