The fourteenth cycle of America's Next Top Model premiered on March 10, 2010, and is the eighth season to be aired on The CW. The cycle's catch phrase is "Work It Out". The promotional songs are "Watch Me Move" by Fefe Dobson and "Go Getta" by Stella Mwangi.

<i>Americas Next Top Model</i> television series

America's Next Top Model is an American reality television series and interactive competition in which a number of aspiring models compete for the title of "America's Next Top Model" and a chance to begin their career in the modeling industry. Created by Tyra Banks, who also serves as an executive producer, and developed by Ken Mok and Kenya Barris, the series premiered in May 2003, and was aired semiannually until 2012, then annually from 2013. The first six seasons were aired on UPN, before UPN merged with The WB to create The CW in 2006. The following sixteen cycles were aired on The CW until the series was first cancelled in October 2015. The series has since been revived, with cycle 24 currently airing by VH1. The series was among the highest-rated programs on UPN, and was the highest-rated show on The CW from 2007 to 2010. Advertisers paid $61,315 per 30-second slot during the 2011–12 television seasons, the highest of any series on The CW.

The CW Television Network is an American English-language free-to-air television network that is operated by the CW Network, LLC, a limited liability joint venture between CBS Corporation, the former owners of United Paramount Network (UPN); and AT&T, whose WarnerMedia subsidiary is the parent company of Warner Bros., former majority owner of The WB. The network's name is an abbreviation derived from the first letters of the names of its two parent corporations.

Fefe Dobson Canadian singer-songwriter

Felicia Lily "Fefe" Dobson is a Canadian singer and songwriter. Born in Toronto, Ontario, she began performing as a teenager, during which she received and refused an offer from Jive Records for a recording contract. Dobson signed with Island/Def Jam soon after and released her self-titled debut album (2003), which saw the success of the singles "Bye Bye Boyfriend" and "Don't Go " on the Canadian Hot 100 chart and for which she received two Juno Award nominations.

The company also has offices in Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, and London. Founded in 1967 by Wilhelmina Cooper, it currently provides full-service representation and management to models, entertainers, artists, musicians, and athletes. In 2009 the company became the first and only publicly traded modeling and talent agency after its acquisition by New Century Equity Holdings Corp.

Seventeen is an American teen magazine. The magazine's reader-base is 13-to-19-year-old females. It began as a publication geared toward inspiring teen girls to become model workers and citizens. Soon after its debut, Seventeen took a more fashion- and romance-oriented approach in presenting its material while promoting self-confidence in young women. It was first published in September 1944 by Walter Annenberg's Triangle Publications.

CoverGirl is an American cosmetics brand founded in Maryland, United States, by the Noxzema Chemical Company and acquired by Procter & Gamble in 1989 and later acquired by Coty, Inc. in 2016. The Noxell Company advertised this cosmetics line by allowing "cover girls", models, actresses, and singers who appear on the front cover of women's magazines, to wear its products. CoverGirl primarily provides a wide variety of consumer-grade cosmetics.

J. Alexander was removed from his post as a judge, but still remained as the runway coach. He was replaced by Vogue editor André Leon Talley. The international destinations during this cycle were Auckland and Queenstown, New Zealand.

Krista White is an American fashion model, best known as the winner of Cycle 14 of America's Next Top Model. As part of her win, she was signed with Wilhelmina Models, received a $100,000 contract with Covergirl, and appeared on the cover of Seventeen Magazine.

Season summary

A new rule this cycle enabled the girl called first at the judging panel every week to not only have her picture (or commercial) displayed as digital art in the models' house for the rest of the week however that same girl would also receive the prize of the following week's reward challenge, regardless of their performance at the actual challenge. If the same girl won the challenge, she was able to pick others to join her on the reward, or received additional prizes along with her challenge win.

Top Models in Action was replaced with Top Model Lounge featuring Bianca Golden from Cycle 9 and Laura Kirkpatrick from the petite cycle offering commentary about each week's episode. These same two contestants later returned a year and a half later for the All Stars cycle along with this cycle's Angelea Preston and eleven other returning non-winning contestants.

Laura Sioux Kirkpatrick is an American model and fashion designer, best known as the runner-up of cycle 13 of America's Next Top Model. She was voted fan favorite in a poll the show held after the conclusion of the series, which won her a six-month, rent-free apartment in New York City.

This cycle returned to featuring girls within the standard heights of the modeling industry (5 ft 7 in and taller), unlike the previous cycle (5 ft 7 in and under). In addition, cycle 14 took place in New York City, having been set in Los Angeles for cycle 13.
