The sixth cycle of America's Next Top Model premiered on March 8, 2006, which would be the last cycle to air on UPN before merging with The WB to create The CW. The catch-phrase for this cycle was "Fairy Tales Come True." This cycle was filmed from October through December 2005.

<i>Americas Next Top Model</i> television series

America's Next Top Model is an American reality television series and interactive competition in which a number of aspiring models compete for the title of "America's Next Top Model" and a chance to begin their career in the modeling industry. Created by Tyra Banks, who also serves as an executive producer, and developed by Ken Mok and Kenya Barris, the series premiered in May 2003, and was aired semiannually until 2012, then annually from 2013. The first six seasons were aired on UPN, before UPN merged with The WB to create The CW in 2006. The following sixteen cycles were aired on The CW until the series was first cancelled in October 2015. The series has since been revived, with cycle 24 currently airing by VH1. The series was among the highest-rated programs on UPN, and was the highest-rated show on The CW from 2007 to 2010. Advertisers paid $61,315 per 30-second slot during the 2011–12 television seasons, the highest of any series on The CW.

The United Paramount Network (UPN) was an American broadcast television network that launched on January 16, 1995. The network was originally owned by Chris-Craft Industries and United Television; Viacom turned the network into a joint venture in 1996 after acquiring a 50% stake in the network, and subsequently purchased Chris-Craft's remaining stake in 2000. In December 2005, UPN was spun off to CBS Corporation when Viacom split into two separate companies.

The WB defunct American broadcast TV network followed by defunct Internet-only service

The WB Television Network was an American television network that was first launched on broadcast television on January 11, 1995, as a joint venture between the Warner Bros. Entertainment division of AT&T's WarnerMedia and the Tribune Broadcasting subsidiary of the Tribune Company, with the former acting as controlling partner. The network principally aired programs targeting teenagers and young adults between the ages of 13 and 34, with the exception of its weekday daytime and Saturday morning program block, Kids' WB, which was geared toward children ages 7 to 12.

The Girl Who Learns How to Dance

The thirty-two semi-finalists participate in their first challenge in which they have to coordinate an outfit to go with one of three walks. They also had interviews with Tyra Banks, J. Alexander, and Jay Manuel. The semi-finalists get cut down to twenty and then have their first photoshoot, a beauty shot. The twenty remaining semi-finalists get cut down to the final thirteen.

Jay Manuel is an American-born Canadian TV host, Creative Director and Make-up Artist. He is most recognizable as the former Creative Director on the popular reality television show America's Next Top Model. Manuel also was featured as the host of Canada's Next Top Model.

The Girls Go Bald

The thirteen finalists participated in a challenge where they had a press conference, with Nnenna being the winner. The photoshoot had them pose bald with mannequin heads. The judging saw Kathy become the first model eliminated.

They participated in a challenge where they went to a fashion show and picked outfits that represented their personal style, with the winner being Nnenna. The photoshoot had them portraying ice princesses on a magazine cover. The judging saw Wendy become the second model eliminated.

The ten finalists participated in a challenge where they had to take seasonal commercial photos for Sears, with the winner being Nnenna. The photoshoot had them posing with male models while portraying their future careers. The judging saw Gina become the fourth model eliminated.

The nine finalists participated in a challenge where they performed improv with the cast of MTV's Wild 'n Out, with the winner being Furonda. They shot a commercial for Cover Girl Clean Liquid Foundation where they were attendees at a pool party. The judging saw Mollie Sue become fifth model eliminated.

The eight finalists participated in a challenge where they modeled in a church fashion show, with the winner being Jade. The photoshoot had them krumping while modeling shoes for Payless. The judging saw Leslie become the sixth model eliminated.

The Girl Who Has Surgery

The seven finalists participated in a challenge where they were tested to see how much criticism they could take, with the winner being Jade. The photoshoot was for Pantene had them posing as various types of dolls. They did a second emotional photoshoot with Tyra. The judging saw Brooke become the seventh model eliminated.

The Girl Who Is A Model, Not A Masseuse

First aired April 26, 2006

The six finalists participated in a challenge where they had to be interviewed, with the winner being Nnenna. The models went to Bangkok, Thailand, where they had a photoshoot had them portray mermaids caught in a net in the floating market for Banana Boat Suntan Lotion. The judging saw Nnenna become the eighth model eliminated.

The five finalists participated in a challenge where the learned and performed Thai classical dance, with Joanie being the winner. The photoshoot had them posing on elephants for Gillette's line of Venus razors. The judging saw Furonda become the ninth model eliminated.

The Girls Go to Phuket

First aired May 10, 2006

The four finalists participate in a challenge where they go on go-sees, with the winner being Danielle. They travel to Phuket, Thailand for a photoshoot for Elle Girl and Amp'd Mobile that had them modeling Ocean Pacific swimwear on a beach. The judging saw Sara become the tenth model eliminated.

The Girl Who Walked Through The Ancient City

First aired May 17, 2006

The final three contestants, Joanie Dodds, Jade Cole, and Danielle Evans, shot photographs and a commercial for Cover Girl Lash Exact Mascara. Jade became the eleventh finalist to be eliminated at panel.

Joanie and Danielle walked in Roj Singkakul's fashion show for his line Issue. The final judging saw Danielle crowned America's Next Top Model.
