Amitabha Singh is an Indian cinematographer and producer known for the film Khosla Ka Ghosla and the award-winning Chillar Party , among others. The Good Road , a 2013 film he produced, fetched numerous accolades and was screened at various international film festivals. It was also nominated as India's official entry in the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 86th Academy Awards. It won the award for Best Gujarati film at the 60th National Film Awards. [1] Singh started his career in 1994. In 2016, he launched the social enterprise Cinevidya, which organizes workshops and festivals to expose children to filmmaking tools and techniques. [2]

It was produced by Savita Raj Hiremath under the Taandav Films label and Ronnie Screwvala from UTV Motion Pictures. Written by Jaideep Sahni, the film stars Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Parvin Dabas, Vinay Pathak, Ranvir Shorey and Tara Sharma in the lead roles. The story follows Kamal Kishore Khosla (Kher), a middle-class Delhiite and his family's attempt to reclaim their land which has been seized by a builder, Khurana (Irani).

Despite its small budget, upon release the film was a commercial success. Although Inderpal Singh just had a small cameo in the movie, he was later signed up for two bigger budget movies – Vicky Donor as taya ji and Besharam as bhura paaji.

Shortcut Safaari is a 2014 Hindi film directed by Amitabha Singh and featuring Bollywood actor Jimmy Sheirgill. The film was initially titled The Trip. Shortcut Safari had its festival premiere at The National Children’s Film Festival (NCFF) on 15 November 2014, established by the Children's Film Society of India (CFSI) at the capital New Delhi.

Sau Jhooth Ek Sach is a 2005 Hindi-language indie thriller film directed by Bappaditya Roy, the film marks Bappaditya Roy's directorial debut. Produced by Amitabha Singh through the production house Think 16. The film stars Mammootty and Vikram Gokhale. Gokhale plays an industrialist. The film was screened at the 7th Mumbai International Film Festival. The film was a failure at the box office.
